The Flash's Grant Gustin shows off the perfect Superman hair curl in a new video. Gustin became famous for playing Barry Allen, aka The Flash, over a decade in the Arrowverse. The actor made his DC debut in 2013, with a two-episode arc on Arrow season 2, then going on to lead The Flash for nine seasons. With The Flash season 9 recently ending both the show and the Arrowverse, Gustin is available to take on another DC role, and a new video shows he would look great in classic Superman fashion.

On Twitter, @fortdasol1dao shared a video Gustin posted on social media showing off a perfect Superman curl.

While Henry Cavill's Superman did not really appear with Superman's iconic curl in the DCEU, maybe James Gunn's Superman: Legacy will rectify that decision and give David Corenswet's Clark Kent the curl. While the new DC Universe already has its Superman, Gustin does look good with the curl, so maybe The Flash is not the only superhero for him.

Would Grant Gustin Make A Good Superman?

Even though he has become famous for playing The Flash, Gustin's video confirms he can pull off Superman's look, and most importantly, he has the necessary acting talents to pull it off. Gustin played one of the Arrowverse's three main heroes alongside Stephen Amell's Green Arrow and Melissa Benoist's Supergirl, appearing in multiple crossover events over the years. As The Flash, Gustin has shared the screen with both Brandon Routh and Tyler Hoechlin's versions of Superman.

Despite The Flash, and most Arrowverse shows, dwindling in quality over the years, Gustin's acting remained a constant source of praise. The actor has delivered time and again emotional performances that have grounded Barry and made his depiction of the hero the fan-favorite version of The Flash, even with Ezra Miller playing Barry in the DCEU. That is why The Flash movie's Gustin snub disappointed fans, with the actor not appearing in the film's multiverse sequence despite Miller showing up in a similar situation during the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event.

Throughout his nine seasons leading The Flash, Gustin has shown his wide acting range. The actor can play the bubbly personality Clark Kent is known for to perfection, with Barry having many light-hearted moments in the series, especially early on, that resemble Clark. As Barry matured, growing into the Arrowverse's flagship hero after Oliver Queen's death, Gustin showed that he has what it takes to be the hero that leads and inspires others with good intentions in his heart, just like what's needed of Superman. Plus, Gustin is a major Superman fan, making him an interesting choice to play the Man of Steel, be it in live-action or animation.
