Warning! Spoilers for The Flash #768 below!

In the latest issue of Justice League leader. This occurs as Barry Allen attempts to save Wally West, who is stuck in the Jurassic period due to an anomaly that occurred with the Speed Force. Throughout the issue, Barry is desperate to find his old protege who's lost in time, but Barry's without his speed, so he calls on Oliver Queen's help.

Ever since Wally West's Heroes in Crisis killings, during which he murdered Green Arrow's protege Roy Harper, Oliver has held a serious and well-deserved grudge. He does not approve of Wally being a hero and advocates for the Justice League and Barry to let him go. In Oliver's mind, if a superhero isn't fully committed, they shouldn't stick around. Oliver is entirely right and the decisions that he makes in this issue further prove to be very mature as he's able to set aside his prejudices and preconceived ideas to make the right choices.

In The Flash #768 by Jeremy Adams, Brandon Peterson, Marco Santucci, David Lafuente, Mike Atiyeh, Arif Prianto, and Luis Guerrero, Green Arrow can harness his emotions to make the right, grounded calls that the Flash fails to do. Near the midway point of the issue, Oliver is able to keep Barry and Mr. Terrific on track by focusing on the basics of the information they've got. He's able to drown out their science talk, breaking everything down, which leads to him breaking down what's actually happening. This is just one of the points where he shows signs of what it truly means to be a leader.

Green Arrow Flash 2

To lead a team, one must be able to set aside personal biases to make the right calls. Oliver does just this as Barry desperately tries to save Wally after he loses communication with him. At this point, Oliver is dead set against Mr. Terrific's idea to increase the power. However, Barry insists on doing just that and they have an argument. Oliver hears Barry out and accepts Barry's choice as he realizes he would do just the same thing if he could save Roy Harper. This ability to harness both sides of his emotional spectrum is the core reason why Oliver might just be a great leader.

Ultimately, the qualities that Oliver shows are ones that the Justice League needs. The Justice League faces constant threats that need taking down, and much of them have become very personal, especially with returning villains as they often target specific league . Therefore, Green Arrow would be the perfect person to lead the Justice League, making the right calls. Whether he'll rise to such a status remains unclear, but with him being in a leadership role, it seems like a possible outcome. The Flash #768 is available in comic book shops and on digital platforms now.
