A spectacularly creative new cosplay combines John Stewart's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers' Green Ranger to form the all-powerful Green Lantern Ranger, a super-powered member of the special force hero team known as the Stygian Rangers.

Despite their obvious differences, the Green Lantern and Green Ranger enjoy a range of similarities that make them natural partners and crossover candidates. Indeed, the Green Lantern and the Green Ranger arguably perform the same job, albeit with different means, methods, and styles. The primary mission of both heroes includes a duty to protect the Earth from alien threats. The ability to enact that protection is born of a benevolent alien power that seeks to maintain galactic peace and harmony, choosing agents of impeccable willpower, integrity, and focus to serve as champions. When not performing their security duties, both live as normal humans, but activate an alien technology - a power ring for the Lantern and a power morpher for the Green Ranger - that transform them into their respective super-powered status while also hiding their identities from the public.

The two characters combine in a fan-fiction story/artwork from the Green Lantern Corps for assistance. Having heard rumors of John Stewart's abilities, she tests whether he will temporarily serve as the Green Ranger. While initially refusing the invitation due to his duties to the Corps, John ultimately decides to become the Green Ranger temporarily, until the threat is eliminated, thus forming the Green Stygian Ranger. The Green Stygian Ranger Revealed

In this epic cosplay, thecoscreative gets Williams' Green Stygian Ranger vibe just right while adding new elements such as a cape and hood. Indeed, thecoscreative makes sure to display that the warrior is and a summoned Dragonzord. It's a combination most villains would do well to avoid, and probably why Queen Stygia wanted Stewart's Green Lantern to be the Green Ranger.

In this stunning cosplay by thecoscreative, fans are not only introduced to a new fan-fiction hero that rivals the creative output of the comic publishers behind Green Lantern and the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers', but see the often marginalized John Stewart get the respect he's earned as a multiverse-tier superhero.
