An amazing new he murders the Joker, leading to epic confrontations between heroes that got fans talking about who should fight whom next. One of the standouts for the story, though, was the costume design.
Injustice is a series that gave fans some of the coolest looks for classic heroes and villains in years. Some of the most notable new looks include Harley Quinn's easy-to-make-at-home rebel outfit that brought her more in line with her modern interpretations; Batman and his more armored look; and Superman's terrifying totalitarian design. These new costume choices for classic characters do a great job of giving fans a look at some of their favorites and showing how they've changed since Superman took over. However, one hero has been completely overlooked by most, and a cosplayer's epic design is proving to the world why Hal Jordan's Green Lantern look from Injustice should be respected more.
Cosplayer Capitalcosplay shared a video of themselves at Oz Comic Con with a look inspired by Green Lantern's costume in Injustice. The armor plated suit features the cosplayer showing off just how epic the suit redesign is. After redeeming himself at the end of the original Injustice arc, Hal Jordan returns to being a Green Lantern with an awesome new design that shows himself off as a more brute and ready for battle member of the Lantern Corps. Capitalcosplay does an excellent job showing just why this is one of Jordan's best costume redesigns due to how different is from the typical skin-layer suit of his counterparts.

When asked how the suit was made, Capitalcosplay responded with interesting details about the process behind bring Jordan's costume to life and ending his reign as having the worst costume in comics. They mention, "The model and texture was ripped from [Injustice 2] and then put into pepakura. From here there was a bit of freehand because there wasn't really any separation in the segments in the pep files." This description shows just how amazing cosplayers can be due to the amount of detail that goes into the process. So many of these suits come from love of the source material as they go above and beyond to bring their favorite designs to the real world while not deviating from what made them so iconic.
Capitalcosplay has also been the brains behind some other incredibly cool looks including an Iron Man suit that mirrors his look in Avengers: Endgame and a gigantic Darkseid outfit that has been a work-in-progress for a while. All of these amazing designs can be viewed on The Injustice series of games has brought a lot of amazing looks for classic DC characters to the fray, but Capitalcosplay's Green Lantern redesign is by far one of the coolest cosplays out there and shows why this version of the character deserves more recognition.
