Fans think they may have spotted a prized possession of GTA 5 lead character Michael in the new GTA 6 Trailer 2, which gave us larger looks at dual protagonists Jason and Lucia, the side characters they will interact with, and some GTA-style action set pieces. Fans are taking a deep look at some of the smaller details of the impressive trailer, and a new GTA 5 Easter egg has possibly been discovered.
In a Reddit post by Professional_Fix_565, the posted comparison shots of Michael's boat from GTA 5 and what could possibly be the same boat near the beginning of the GTA 6 Trailer 2, and the boats definitely look similar. The boat in question is a medium-sized boat, featuring blue stripes. In GTA 5, players went on a mission to recover it after it had been sold by Michael's son without his permission. In the GTA 6 trailer, an almost identical boat can be seen in the yard of the house Jason is working at before being interrupted by drug runner Brian Heder.
Could This Be Michael's Boat?
It Looks Like It, At The Very Least
Michael's boat is one of his most cherished possessions, and during the events of GTA 5, the player has to attempt to get it back. The dialogue during the mission led to a lot of memes about Michael's tone and word choice because of his anger. The boat that is in the GTA 6 trailer definitely could be Michael's boat, given the history of Michael "losing it."

Fans Are Piecing Together Their Own GTA 6 Map Of Leonida After The Second Trailer
GTA 6’s latest trailer has provoked even more fan speculation on what its world looks like, providing a massive update to a fan-made mapping project.
However, it's equally likely that this could be just a very similar-looking boat or just an Easter egg and hold no canonical weight. As of 2021 in the GTA timeline, Michael is working at Richards Majestic Studios in Los Santos, so it doesn't seem likely he will appear in GTA 6. It's possible he could have sold his boat to someone in Vice City, but given how much he loves his boat, that doesn't seem likely either. However, Michael's voice actor, Ned Luke, has previously teased about returning in GTA 6, so it's a big mystery right now.
GTA 6 Trailers Have More To Uncover
The Voice Actors And Other Characters Have Yet To Be Confirmed
Even more than just the boat, fans have been analyzing every detail of the GTA 6 Trailer 2 for more information, and it has created a lot of discussion and theories. Fans think they may have spotted a the voice actors could be for GTA 6, because the voice cast is still mostly unconfirmed.
Michael could very well return for GTA 6, and with several references to other characters and past story events, the game could be a celebration of the entire history of GTA. Nothing related to Michael or his boat is confirmed, and despite the new trailer giving us some new information, a lot of Grand Theft Auto 6 is still surrounded in mystery. But with such ionate discussions and excitement for the title at an all-time high, it doesn't seem like fans mind the lack of concrete information.
