Music is an important part of the Grand Theft Auto series, and GTA Online has gotten its largest musical update ever thanks to the new Cayo Perico Heist. While the Heist brings in a lot of fresh gameplay content to the game, there's also a lot of music for GTA Online fans to be excited about, including new Flying Lotus tunes, a radio station hosted by Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, and a whole lot more.
Now that the Cayo Perico Heist is live and playable, people are discovering some all-new music in GTA Online. In addition to three new stations coming to Grand Theft Auto's radio, a couple of existing stations have gotten updates. Music has already been a major part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, and it looks like Rockstar Games has finally fully embraced it. From beach parties to a new nightclub with rotating DJs, there's a lot of stuff for music lovers to enjoy in Cayo Perico and Los Santos.
One of the musical highlights of the new Cayo Perico Heist is The Music Locker, a new nightclub that will feature a rotation of real-world guest DJs. For now, Moodymann is the in-house DJ, and The Music Locker has its own new radio station as well. This way, players can listen to the new tracks in GTA Online without having to actually be inside The Music Locker.

Besides The Music Locker, there are two other more new stations in Los Santos. Kult FM 99.1 is hosted by The Strokes' frontman, Julian Casablancas. The station features songs from Joy Division, the Velvet Underground, and Iggy Pop. The other new station, Still Slipping Los Santos, is a pirate radio station from UK DJ Joy Orbison, for those looking to incorporate more house and techno mixes into their GTA Online gaming experience.
Of the existing radio stations in GTA Online, both Worldwide FM and FlyLo FM have gotten new music updates. Worldwide FM, run by real-world DJ Gilles Peterson, features new tunes from MF DOOM, Kamasi Washington, Khruangbin, and BADBADNOTGOOD. FlyLo FM brings in new tracks from Flying Lotus as well as Madlib and MF DOOM. The new music will get a boost on these stations for a short time, before being mixed in with past tracks over time.
The Cayo Perico Heist is the biggest musical update ever for GTA Online. Whether players prefer techno, old-school punk rock, or the latest DJ tracks, there's something for just about everyone.
