Social media reactions have come out for Marvel Studios' last Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's First Reactions Are Positive
Since the first installment, Guardians of the Galaxy has been one of the breakout franchises for Marvel Studios. Based on characters who the mainstream audience wasn't even familiar with prior to 2014, Star-Lord and his team quickly became fan favorites in the MCU. For as much comedy as both films had, there have also been dramatic plot points that are now crossing into Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is the final MCU film for Gunn, it is also probably the last film for most of the characters. Dave Bautista has already confirmed that this installment will be the last movie for him in the MCU. The trailers have already indicated that Gunn will pull audiences' heartstrings, particularly with a concern that one or more characters may get killed off. Based on these early reactions, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is already on the right track for the trilogy's final story.
It will be intriguing to see what the overall response is once more critics and audience have seen the film. With only a few more weeks to go, more reactions are bound to come out.
