Those who pre-order the Eidos Montréal-developed E3 2021 showcase, a reveal that many anticipated given leaked details that made the rounds in late May.

During the final moments of the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy's trailer and developer deep dive, fans were given a glimpse at the pre-order bonuses. The extra content includes a Throwback Guardians Outfit Pack, featuring costumes inspired by each character's classic appearance. Star-Lord's pre-order outfit sees the hero donning his old-school uniform, for instance. Meanwhile, Drax's throwback get-up includes the purple cape that adorned his frame during his first appearance in the 1970s. In addition, the Cosmic Deluxe Edition of the game boasts its own special suits for Star-Lord, the Sun-Lord and City-Lord outfits.
Since the general character designs aren't straying too far from their big-screen counterparts, the pre-orders bonuses offer a neat alternative. At the time of writing, there's no word on whether or not players will be able to purchase the Throwback Guardians Outfit Pack at a later date.
Similar to Eidos Montréal's choice-based story. Footage shown during the Square Enix Presents showcase indicates decisions big and small will litter the experience. However, the weight that each choice may have on the overarching narrative presently remains a mystery. Players can find out for themselves soon enough, though, since Square Enix plans to release the title in a few months.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy comes to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms this fall on October 26.
