Gwenpool series from Marvel Comics. However, this isn't the same Gwenpool we know and love, but rather her undead doppelgänger from the original Earth-616 timeline.
Written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by Stefano Nesi, this revived version of Gwen is a bloodthirsty, ruthless killer, leaving Spidey with some very complicated feelings.
Gwen Stacy returns as the darker, deadlier, and even more unhinged GWENPOOL, and who better to help Spidey navigate this soul-crushing revelation than the medium-shattering, attention-seeking Marvel Comics superfan that is the original Gwenpool! It’s a wild team-up as the pair race to solve this unhinged mystery before it’s too late—because Gwendolye Poole knows better than anyone that there’s definitely not enough page time for two Gwenpools!
Gwen Stacy is Returning As A Coldblooded, Deadlier Gwenpool

The Fantastic Four Would Rather Recruit Gwen Stacy Than Spider-Man
Despite not having any powers (in this reality, anyway), Gwen Stacy proves she's a better candidate for the Fantastic Four than even Spider-Man.
This seems like a solid counterbalance to what the Gwenpool fans are familiar with. Despite the name, the original Gwenpool isn't even a "Stacy." Gwen Poole is a superfan who traveled to the 616 timeline to live out her dreams as a mercenary superhero. Her whimsical humor and lighthearted attitude should pose a stark contrast to her vengeful cold-blooded zombie variant.
Gwen Stacy's Return Proves No One Is Really Dead In Comics
And Even After All These Years, That Matters
As exciting as this new series sounds, bringing Gwen Stacey back sets a disappointing precedent in a way. Her death shocked the comic book world in 1973's The Amazing Spider-Man #121, and for the longest time, she was believed to be one of the few comic book characters to actually stay dead. At this point, it seems the only people who actually stay dead in Spider-man's world are his parents and Uncle Ben. Death is a common motivator for many heroes and to continually see fan-favorite characters revived through plot armor cheapens the impact their death has on the story.

Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane? Ultimate Spider-Man Just Settled Who Peter's True Love Is
Two women stand out as the greatest loves of Peter Parker's life; Marvel's rebooted Ultimate Spider-Man finally clarifies who his true love is.
Gwen Stacey's resurrection presents both an interesting dilemma and an exciting opportunity. Hopefully, the creative team behind it understands the gravity of that and can deliver a story that respects the legacy of Gwen's death. With appearances from Kate Bishop and Jeff the Land Shark, this new series has all the right ingredients to be a fan favorite. If Cavan Scott and Stefano Nesi are able to weave these elements in a way that echoes the gravity of Gwen's death, then it's certain to be a success.
Gwenpool #1 is available for preorder now, set to arrive in May from Marvel Comics.
