Hacks season 4 has continued the series' trend of high critical praise, and may also keep up the number of awards it's been nominated for and won since the show began.

Now, Max has confirmed that Hacks will be coming back for season 5, the renewal coming just before the season 4 finale airs. The series, which has been nominated for 48 Emmys, has been in the top 5 for the streaming platform since season 4 began, with growth in viewership that has justified the early renewal for the series. Sarah Aubrey, Head of Max Original Programming, and Erin Underhill, President of Universal Television, praised the show, explaining their excitement for more episodes.
