The third film in the franchise, Michael Myers – but there was a good reason why it took a different route far from the previous films.
Halloween 3, but the audience already linked the title of the film to the character, which is why it wasn’t well received. Halloween 3 had a witchcraft theme, where Dr. Dan Challis and Ellie Grimbridge’s investigation of a mysterious murder led them to Conal Cochran, the owner of the Silver Shamrock Novelties company, who was attempting to resurrect the ancient aspects of Samhain and planned to kill children through his Halloween masks and a TV ad.

After a rough initial reception, Halloween 3 has become a cult-classic outside the Halloween/Michael Myers storyline.
