HandMirror can be ed in the Mac App Store for free, and takes virtually zero time to set up. As soon as the application is ed, s will notice a new icon in their menu bar. The menu bar is located at the top right of the screen, and is visible anytime an application is not in full-screen mode, but the location of the HandMirror icon will depend on how many menu bar toggles are added. The icon looks like a hand mirror, hence the application's name. HandMirror's latest version can be ed on Macs running macOS Catalina or later, but older versions can be found on the application's website for systems running High Sierra or later.

Clicking the HandMirror icon will bring up a small viewfinder attached to the menu bar that shows any inbuilt FaceTime HD cameras by default. Third-party webcams can be used with HandMirror by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of the viewfinder, and selecting the webcam's name in the list. It might take a second for the Mac's camera to turn on after the HandMirror icon is clicked, but after it turns on, the app works flawlessly.
