An impressive ensemble of award-winning actors returns to play fan favorite Nightwing, into its version of the DC Comics Universe.
Harley Quinn season 3 finds Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy adjusting to the idea of being "partners in crime, in every sense of the word." This leads to an arboricultural assault on Gotham City that will bring about a better, greener world. Naturally, the couple find opposition along the way from Gotham's heroes and villains alike.
Harley Quinn season 3 is as chaotic as its title heroine, with the series boasting a sizeable troupe of beloved DC Comics characters outside the core cast. As a result, the series has featured a number of episodes focused on the ing characters as they deal with their own issues outside of Harley and Ivy's activities. While some elements (such as the ridiculous feud between Kite Man and Condiment King) often make the series' storylines difficult to describe, this esoteric aesthetic has also won the show a loyal following. Here's a full guide to Harley Quinn season 3's cast and characters.
Kaley Cuoco As Harley Quinn & Kylie Kryptonite
A hopeless romantic, Dr. Harleen Quinzel has finally freed herself from the influence of her ex-boyfriend, the Joker, and formed a true partnership with her best friend and former patient, Poison Ivy. Harley Quinn Season 3 finds Harley trying (and largely failing) to reign in her impulsive nature for the good of Ivy's plan to save the environment. Kaley Cuoco, most famous for playing Penny Hofstadter in The Big Bang Theory, voices both the Maiden of Mischief and Kylie Kryptonite, an adult film actress who plays Harley in a reportedly well-produced movie based on her and Ivy's romance.
Lake Bell As Poison Ivy, Britney Bionic, and Cheryl
Fresh off a broken Marvel's What If..?) plays the Lady of the Leaves, adult film actress Britney Bionic, and Cheryl, a long-suffering lieutenant in the GD.
James Adomian As Bane
A far cry from the sinister figure who "broke the Bat" in BoJack Horseman, American Dad, and Rugrats.
Cathy Ang as Golden Glider
Golden Glider is a skating-themed supervillain and the new love of Kite Man's life after his romance with Poison Ivy crashed and burned like a badly built kite. Despite this, she forms a surprising friendship with Ivy after the two bond over their mutual loathing of supervillain gatherings. Golden Glider is voiced by Cathy Ang, who is most famous for playing Lily Goldenblatt in the Sex in the City reboot And Just Like That...
Ron Funches As King Shark
Nanaue is a tech-savvy shark demigod and heir apparent to an undersea kingdom. Despite his noble upbringing, he is probably the most friendly member of Harley Quinn's crew, up until the moment he smells blood. King Shark is voiced by Ron Funches, who is best known for providing the voice of Cooper in the Trolls movies.
James Gunn as Himself
The only filmmaker to date to make movies for both the DCEU and MCU, James Gunn is better known for his work as a writer and filmmaker than his acting work, although he did play the role of the shrinking hero Minute Man in the independent superhero comedy The Specials, which he also wrote. Gunn plays himself in Harley Quinn season 3, having come to Gotham City to oversee production of a serious biopic based upon the life and death of Thomas Wayne.
Chris Meloni As Commissioner Jim Gordon
Once the only honest cop in Gotham City, Jim Gordon spent most of Harley Quinn season 2 as the city's only peacekeeper, battling alcoholism along with the supervillains threatening the city. Harley Quinn season 3 finds the beleaguered commissioner taking on a new challenge, running for mayor on a platform of bringing Harley and Ivy to justice. Commissioner Gordon is voiced by Chris Meloni, who is most often recognized for his work as Detective Elliot Stabler in True Blood.
Matt Oberg As Kite Man
Barely qualifying as a D-List supervillain, Kite Man refuses to let little things like his own incompetence get him down. His optimism won over Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn's audience, earning good old Chuck Brown a spinoff where he will take over the management of Gotham City's favorite supervillain bar, Noonan's. Kite Man is voiced by Matt Oberg, who plays Buddy Calhoun on Veep as well as Bruce and Larry in Superstore.
JB Smoove As Frank The Plant
Frank the Plant was the only friend Poison Ivy had before Harley Quinn came along. A loyal foot-soldier despite not having any feet, Harley Quinn season 3 sees Frank take on a new importance as the centerpiece of Ivy's plan to pollinate all of Gotham City's plant life. Frank is played by JB Smoove, who is perhaps most often recognized as Peter Parker's teacher, Mr. Dell, in the MCU Spider-Man movies.
Billy Bob Thornton as Himself
An award-winning actor, producer, director, and writer, Goliath star Billy Bob Thornton might seem an odd choice for a celebrity cameo in a series like Harley Quinn. Despite this, Thornton does appear in Harley Quinn season 3, voicing himself, having been cast in the lead role of James Gunn's biographical film on the life and death of Thomas Wayne.
Alan Tudyk As Clayface & The Joker
With a resume including work in multiple Disney films and Star Wars, there are few who haven't heard Alan Tudyk's voice in something. He can currently be seen in the SyFy series Wash in Firefly and Serenity. Tudyk resumes his dual roles of Joker and Clayface for Harley Quinn season 3, with the new season finding aspiring actor Clayface winning a chance to work with James Gunn, albeit as his new chair. Meanwhile, the Joker is tackling a new role of his own, settling into suburbia as a stay-at-home father for his new girlfriend's children.
