Warning! Spoilers for DC vs. Vampires: World War V #5!While Harley Quinn is marketed as having no powers at all, I know that's not true. There's no denying just how popular Harley Quinn has become. Many call her Marvel's Deadpool, which is a more accurate description than most think, especially considering Deadpool's healing factor. As much as DC wants to deny it, Harley Quinn has an amazing superpower that every writer seems to use: plot armor.

The entire world of DC vs. Vampires has fallen into disarray as the vampire menace has taken over the world. Tons of heroes have been slaughtered and even more have been transformed into sadistic blood drinkers. One of the many reveals in DC vs. Vampires: World War V #5 by Matthew Rosenberg and Otto Schmidt is that Harley Quinn is somehow still alive despite recently lying in a pool of her own blood.

Comic book s: Harley Quinn Is Still Alive In DC vs. Vampires

Harley Quinn has the only cure for vampirism inside her blood. So why the vampire forces would be keeping her alive is something that fans don't currently know.

Harley Quinn Survives Death in DC vs. Vampires, And I Think She's Secretly Immortal

DC vs. Vampires: World War V #5 by Matthew Rosenberg, Otto Schmidt, Pierluigi Casolino, and Tom Napolitano

Comic book s: Nightwing Drinks Harley Quinn's Blood

Beyond this, Harley Quinn was last seen when Nightwing, the previous King of Vampires, was drinking her blood. She was then left on the floor, in a puddle of her own blood, and yet she is seemingly just fine. I firmly believe that this is just another example of Harley Quinn's incredible superpower that always gets her out of trouble, whether it's an unnamed healing factor or regular old plot armor.

The vampire takeover of the world in DC vs. Vampires was brutal and swift, and many amazingly skilled characters didn't survive. Half of the Bat-Family was slaughtered, including Batman. Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and even Superman were all transformed into vampires. It seemed like truly no one was safe from this vampire infection, and the world was quickly taken over by these dark forces. Since then, no one has been safe. John Stewart and Kyle Rayner return from a mission in deep space, only to be immediately slaughtered by Wonder Woman and other vampire forces.

Harley Quinn has evolved a lot in the years since her introduction. She's sported plenty of bold looks, but the Keaton-verse suit is her best yet.

Even Batman, who prides himself on being prepared for everything and surviving no matter what, was killed by the vampire forces. Any human who is still alive is deep in hiding, using either magic or technology to avoid the attention of the vampire menace - except Harley Quinn. Despite the fact that Harley Quinn had her neck drained of blood and was left in a pool of her own blood, and that she poses a major threat to the vampires, she's kept alive. She's chained up, sure, but I can't help but notice that in a world where Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman either died or were turned, Harley Quinn is still alive.

Harley Quinn Was Laying in a Pool of Her Own Blood and Still Survived

"Getting Better" Has to Be Her Superpower

Comic book s: Harley Quinn appears dead at the feet of Wonder Woman and Batgirl.

This world isn't the only apocalyptic universe where Harley magically survives, either. I've noticed over the years that, no matter how bad things get in a universe, Harley Quinn always seems to make it out. In the Dark Multiverse, there was a universe where Batman was driven insane and became the Batman Who Laughs. It's one of the darkest universes that DC has explored, and yet Harley Quinn isn't mentioned in it at all.

Don't forget to check out Harley's new DC All In era story, which is part of DC's central continuity. The new arc begins in Harley Quinn #44 by Elliott Kalan, Mindy Lee, Tríona Farrell, and Lucas Gattoni, available now from DC Comics.

I always thought it was weird that in a story that focuses on the death of the Joker and the rise of a new one, where Batman murders the Bat-Family and every hero on Earth, Harley Quinn is never mentioned. I would think that she'd have some thoughts about this new Joker, but it's never brought up. If Harley Quinn is part of this dark universe, she either doesn't matter at all, or she's so important that she has survived even its darkest turns, waiting for her chance to be the star.

Harley Quinn Has the Strongest Superpower in DC Comics, Including Alternate Universes

Even a Zombie Superman Can't Beat Harley's Plot Armor

Over in the DCeased universe, a techno-organic virus is unleashed on Earth. Anyone who is bitten or sees an infected piece of technology is immediately transformed into a homicidal anti-living "zombie." In this dark world, several heroes can't avoid this horrific virus. Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Superman, Green Lantern, and hundreds of others all end up infected, and most of them lose their lives.

I think it's pretty hard to deny that Harley Quinn has the incredible superpower of plot armor.

But Harley Quinn is completely fine. Not only does she avoid the initial infection that claimed six hundred million lives instantly, but she actually stays behind on Earth with the anti-living after the human survivors leave for space. Despite this choice being ludicrously dangerous, she's completely fine (mostly because of Poison Ivy).

We can't forget that Harley Quinn is incredibly popular. She has starred in three movies and has her own animated TV show, which has five seasons, and she has had her own solo comic off-and0-on for over thirty years. Harley's popularity is undeniable, and she has a huge fanbase, including plenty of creators who undeniably love her. While DC has always marketed Harley as a character without powers, I think it's pretty hard to deny that Harley Quinn has the incredible superpower of plot armor.
