One of the fans and critics' favorite parts of the Harry Potter universe is the fact that there's so much lore to explore and uncover within the story. Like Harry, the audience is unfamiliar with the details of the wizarding world, so we get to learn new things about it alongside the beloved protagonist, making the magic all the more vivid. However, in the movies, it's impossible to touch upon every piece of the larger universe, meaning many of the most exciting details are condensed or left out. Fortunately, the reboot TV show can change all of this.

While there are remake shouldn't answer, there are other aspects of the story that the TV show must expand upon. Having the luxury of a full season of episodes to let each year of Harry's life breathe and grow will let the narrative shine in new ways. While certain aspects of the films are done perfectly and visually express the deeper meanings hidden within the plot, the series can draw upon these moments to make them even bigger. It's exciting that some of our favorite scenes will be even better when the show adapts them.

The Harry Potter Movies' Deathly Hallows Flashback Is Gorgeous, But The Remake Can Do More

This aspect of the story has always captured our imaginations

One of the most visually innovative parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is when the Golden Trio visits Xenophilius Lovegood and finally hears the story of the Three Brothers. The existence of the Deathly Hallows has been hinted at throughout the narrative up to this point. However, it's here that Harry begins to put the pieces together about his connection to the Three Brothers and the Hallows he possesses. The animation style that the filmmakers chose for this moment perfectly captures the mystery and weight of the moment.

Unlike how the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows epilogue is controversial, the Deathly Hallows scene is almost universally beloved, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved upon. Though Hermione reads the entire story, it's still brief and fleeting, and the fact that it had so much importance within the trajectory of Harry's life isn't entirely clear. Since the tale of the Three Brothers is connected to Harry's family history and turns out to be much more than a folktale, it deserves more screen time.

HBO's Harry Potter Show Should Dedicate An Entire Episode To The Deathly Hallows Legend

The TV show can capture the missing nuance and depth of the tale

The best way to pay tribute to the story of the Deathly Hallows is for the Harry Potter TV show to give a whole episode to the story. While it will be a long time before the last book in the series is adapted for the screen, it doesn't hurt to look toward the future and think about how the show can improve upon the films. It's common for TV shows to incorporate episodes that take place outside the linear timeline of the season and transport the audience to a completely different world for the sake of world-building.

HBO's Harry Potter Season 1 MUST Include These 8 Often Ignored Sorcerer's Stone Book Details

We always talk about the big moments that the Harry Potter movies cut, but these small but important Sorcerer's Stone details are hardly discussed.

This is what a Deathly Hallows episode can do. The story can still be animated and unfold in the same style as the scene in the movie, but it can be from the perspective of the brothers. Each brother can have a section of the episode, and the audience can see what possessing a Hallow does to them and their lives to better understand the purpose of each of these magical items. Additionally, the fact that Harry has the real Invisibility Cloak will be made more obvious through an expansion of the third brother's narrative.

The Deathly Hallows Are Too Important To Get Such A Short Backstory

Their impact on the story must be given the proper weight and time

movies proves why the TV series can be so effective and how much story there still is left to be told. The way the audience finds out about the Deathly Hallows comes very late in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, and almost immediately after this, the characters are thrown into non-stop action until the final moments of the movie. There's little time for the characters or viewers to process what they heard and understand that Harry and Voldemort have always been connected to the Deathly Hallows.

Harry's relation to the third brother is glanced over in the movies, but this familial connection is an amazing tie-in that makes his fate even more poignant. Additionally, Dumbledore's planning and maneuvering to make sure that Harry had all the Hallows in the end is an important piece of his manipulation of events from beyond the grave. No matter how the Harry Potter TV show decides to bring this moment to life, there's little question that the consequences of the Tale of the Three Brothers are too impactful to be forgotten.
