When it comes to picking a style, a word of advice is to play each a bit to start to try and get a feel for what each profession is capable of. Leveling each will require a quick finger, some walking power, and a bit of strategy depending on which type of beast is encountered. back in the books/movies again.

Aurors in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Before we get started with the Auror profession, it's important to note that changing professions can happen at any time during the game. If selecting the Auror profession, spell casting is going to be the big focus here. Dealing damage to enemies against Dark Forces is going to be better but damage taken from Beasts is going to hurt more. Inside of each profession, some lessons will improve the abilities of each tree. The Aurors' tree will have the ability to raise the power of the spells cast and lower enemies' resistance to them making combat easier. There will be lessons that have specific benefits to certain enemy types such as Werewolves and Death Eaters if troubles arise against them.

Magizoologists in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

The Magizoologist is a profession that excels in healing. More focused on team play than on combat, they keep other players alive and bringing them back to life if they fall in combat. The spells will enhance the team as well as themselves with buffs given to health, defense, and power later on in the lesson tree. Healing is the chief concern of the Magizoologist which means that damage is tough to come by at the start. This does help out with the potion's side of things where potions don't have to be used as often if at all to stay healed. This comes in handy as creating potions can cost quite a few materials. They will deal more damage to Beasts but will receive more when dealing with Curiosities.

Professors in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

When Professor McGonagall Leads Harry to Meet Oliver Wood

Professors in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite are a mix of the Magizoologist and the Auror where they can be good in combat but also have a bit of healing and charms for their team. They are not to the same level as each on their own, so they need a rounded team to be the most effective. Some of the more effective charms that Professors have are the Mending Charm that heals for small amounts, the Deterioration Hex that lowers an enemy's stamina a small bit when they attack, and the Proficiency Power Charm that raises the power of all teammates. Professors will hit Curiosities hard and take more damage from Dark Forces.
