Warning! Spoilers ahead for Marvel's Hawkeye episode 3
Marvel's Daredevil series, seeing as how there had been concerns that the series was no longer canon to the MCU and that the characters would be rebooted.
Marvel's Hawkeye episode 3 begins with a look into Maya Lopez's past as a child. Despite being deaf, she excelled in school as well as in her karate classes aided by her photographic reflexes, allowing Lopez to perfectly "echo" the movements and skills of others. However, it's revealed that she and her father were struggling to get by, leading to Maya's father eventually ing Hawkeye's villain group the Tracksuit Mafia.
During one of her karate classes Maya's father has to leave, telling her that her "uncle" will be taking her home instead. This is followed by a man who is presumedly her "uncle" showing her affection, though his face remains off-screen. However, his build, suit, and chuckle all point to Echo's uncle being Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk, marking the return of the MCU's Kingpin who was last seen in Netflix's canceled Daredevil series. Combined with teases of a man at the top of Maya's criminal enterprise, and Kingpin's comics' history as her adopted father, it's all but confirmed that Hawkeye has secretly brought Kingpin back.
In any case, if this is correct then Fisk will likely be getting a much bigger spotlight in Hawkeye's three remaining episodes. While he was ostensibly briefly seen in Maya's flashback, Echo has become a leader of the Tracksuits after the death of her father in the present, and it's confirmed that she and her crew work for her "uncle". As a result, it seems as though it will only be a matter of time before the Kingpin shows his face as Clint Barton and Kate Bishop continue to meddle in his affairs.
