Despite its cheesy premise, The Idea of You takes its love story seriously.

Galitzine did a great job of playing his character’s emotions earnestly and making the romance ring true in spite of the soapy, melodramatic premise. He could do the same thing with the Masters of the Universe mythology. He would nail a sincere portrayal of He-Man that takes his problems seriously.
