Throwing multiple wrenches into Batman’s plans to save Gotham City in The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger’s Joker was a force to be reckoned with in every sense of the word, with his unpredictable antics and mysterious motivations making him a fan-favorite iteration of the character who rivaled Jack Nicholson’s Joker and made Joaquin Phoenix’s performance look tame in comparison. Infiltrating the hospital where a badly burned Harvey Dent resided, Joker’s nurse disguise gave him the freedom to strategically plant explosives around the building, a structure which he eventually brought down with a single (or rather double) push of a button.

Presented across three different images, u/thechancellorj’s Nurse Joker design not only nails the look and feel of the chaotic energy Heath Ledger exuded on the silver screen but with the harsh lighting and a darkened forest background seen in the first and last pic, gives this cosplay an uncomfortable and dangerous vibe that fits the character well. Despite The Dark Knight approaching its 15th anniversary, interest in Heath Ledger’s Oscar-winning portrayal of The Joker is still as high as ever, making this cosplay by u/thechancellorj a treat that fans won’t soon forget.
