During Heather was one of the youngest chief stews but proved to be competent and attentive to the guests. She was very detail-oriented, and noticed things like tiny specks in a mirror, or whether a bathroom faucet needed to be scrubbed. Heather had a strong second stew, Fraser Olender, but her third stew Jessica Albert lacked motivation and a good work ethic. Jessica couldn’t handle the stress of her job and eventually quit mid-season.
Heather’s first Below Deck season was met with backlash from fans, as she used a racial slur while joking with deckhand, Rayna Lindsey. She used the same offensive word later when she was rapping. Rayna didn’t address it right away and let her feelings fester for a few charters, which negatively impacted her work. When she finally spoke about it, Heather apologized profusely and begged Rayna for forgiveness. However, the deckhand found it hard to look past it, so she and Heather never mended their friendship.
What Did Heather Do Right After Season 9 Ended?
Heather Hung Out With Her Cast Mates
According to Heather’s Instagram, after Below Deck season 9 wrapped, she took some time off from work, in St. Kitts, along with her fellow cast mates, Wes O’Dell, Jake Foulger, and Eddie Lucas. She then made her way to Tulum, Mexico, where she enjoyed more sun and food with her boyfriend. An Instagram post from shortly after season 9 showed her in the Bahamas with fellow stewardess Kaylee Milligan, who had a short stint on Below Deck season 9. The stew came in to replace Jessica for the final few charters, after Jessica left the boat. The two seem to be working closely together on a yacht and even threw a 1970s-themed disco party for the charter guests.

Heather Has Retired From Yachting
& Has A Bustling Love Life
Heather made a surprising announcement in May 2023 that she was officially retiring from yachting. The now-30 year-old thanked her family for all their over the years and detailed the joy she got through her time being a yachtie. Heather's last charter got to be with her boyfriend, who is a captain. The former Chief Stew mentioned that a new career path presented itself to her and that she was seizing it. According to her LinkedIn, Heather is the "CEO of Triple Sea Management," and the House Manager at UHNW FAMILY.
"Yachting has taken my life to unthinkable heights. This small town girl spent endless nights scrubbing toilets, making hundreds of cocktails, throwing the craziest theme parties and ironing probably close to a million napkins the last 7 years.. & I wouldn’t trade it for a thing."
On Instagram, Heather's page is filled with many posts dedicated to her boyfriend and the fun life they live. She has not tagged her boyfriend in any posts, so his identity remain a mystery. Nonetheless, the couple have a dog together who frequently makes appearances in her posts. Moreover, Heather travels a lot and lives a very active lifestyle. She has 105,000 followers on her verified Instagram .
Will Heather Return To Below Deck?
Not Likely
Below Deck fans wonder if Heather will return to the small screen, unlike First Officer Eddie Lucas. She seems to be doing well in her personal life, and fans have praised her for being one of the best chief stews in the franchise. While her actions with Rayna were offensive, Heather got along with everyone else on My Seanna. Captain Lee Rosbach agreed that her use of the racial slur was wrong, but he believed her apology was sincere, and hoped that she learned to do better.
Below Deck has aired season 10 and 11 since Heather was last seen on TV screens. Now that she has retired from yachting, it is unlikely she will return.
She seems content traveling, being in love, and being a dog mom. Heather was an entertaining and efficient Chief Stew, so having her back would be good for the franchise. While she did have controversy over her usage of the N-word, her apologetic and reflective behavior afterward got her back in viewers' good graces. If the show were to ever have an all-star type spinoff, Heather would be a good choice of cast to invite back.
What Is Heather Up To After The Show?
She Recently Met Up With A Fellow Below Deck Star
Since leaving the show, Heather has made a complete 180 in her life. Not only did she leave yachting, but she is now in a healthy relationship with someone she is clearly in love with. Even though Heather went through a lot in the past got through the other side better than ever. While she didn't reveal his name at first, she recently tagged him in a photo of the couple, and her boyfriend's name is Danny Wood. The pair have been together for over two years and are still going strong. Other than her career and relationship, Heather recently shared a photo of herself with another Below Deck franchise star.
Towards the end of January, Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht shared a series of photos with Heather. In the photos, Daisy and Heather are enjoying a night out together in Miami, shortly after Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 completed its run. Daisy wrote in the caption regarding her time with Heather and all the restaurants they went to:
We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back!
Heather remained friends with several Below Deck franchise cast and alums, and it seems Daisy was one of them.
Even though Heather left Below Deck on a bad note, she bounced back. She had a tough time while the show was airing, but she needed to go through that to learn some valuable life lessons. While Heather's time on the franchise is over, she isn't done sharing her life.
Below Deck is available to stream on Peacock.
