After a rough landing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, some residents seem to have lost their luggage and need your help finding it around Big Adventures Park. Despite the fact that there are over ten initial main residents, only seven characters are missing their luggage, but they won't be easy to find as most will require the use of tools and abilities that will be unlocked later.
To make sure you can reach each of the luggage pieces, you'll want to focus on raising the friendship levels with Hello Kitty and the other Sanrio characters. Furthermore, once you've found one of the missing pieces of luggage, you'll also have to determine who it belongs to based on the tags, which is easier to narrow down if you've been giving gifts regularly.
7 Badtz-maru's Lost Luggage
Unlock The Spooky Swamp
Badtz-maru's Lost Luggage is going to be the easiest to retrieve in Hello Kitty Island Adventure simply because it won't require any tools or significant progress to reach it. The only thing that needs to be completed to reach this luggage is the Power Up The Gate quest with Chococat. This quest unlocks during Chococat's first friendship increases and provides access to the Spooky Swamp area where Kuromi and Keroppi are found.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Is A Smash Hit On PC, Developers Say Thank You With Free Rewards
Hello Kitty Island Adventure had a very successful launch, and the developers at Sunblink want to thank fans with a few free gifts.
As for where to find the luggage item, you'll want to head to the northernmost part of the Spooky Swamp. Along the upper wall that lines the area, you will find Badtz-maru's luggage sitting there. The luggage doesn't look like luggage. Instead, it resembles a small box with wings on either side of it. Collect it and bring it back to Badtz-maru, who can usually be found on the dock near the plaza.
6 Chococat's Lost Luggage
Unlock The Flippers With Keroppi
Chococat's luggage is technically the easiest to find as it is right there in the main resort area, but you won't be able to reach it. This is because, instead of being found lying around on the ground, Chococat's luggage is floating in one of the ponds that's a little south of his crafting station. If you attempt to reach it before you have the Flippers, you will immediately be removed from the water upon entry.
If, at any point, you have more than one piece of luggage and can't which one belongs to whom, each piece will have a tag icon associated with the character it belongs to. Simply scroll over each piece to find the one with a tag matching that character, which can be viewed on their Hello Kitty Island Adventure resident page on the phone.
Therefore, the only way to get it is to learn to swim, which is done through the Flippers you'll get from Keroppi. After the Spooky Swamp is unlocked, you can find Keroppi at the area's southern end. Give him his welcoming gift from My Melody, and that should be enough to have him present you with the Flipper crafting plans and the fins. All you need to do now is find the strap, which the quest guide can lead you to, and then you'll be able to craft some Flippers and reach the luggage.
5 Hangyodon's Lost Luggage
Reach Gemstone Mountain
Hangyodon's luggage is not going to be found in the water, as you might expect, given that he lives there. Instead, it will be found on Gemstone Mountain. To reach the area, you have a couple of options. The first and easiest method is to get over there through the Spooky Swamp. You can either repair the zipline at the area's north end and zipline over, or you can follow the beach path. If neither sounds appealing, you can do it the hard way and swim the whole way.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Developer Talks "Major Innovations On The Horizon" For The Cozy Game
Hello Kitty Island Adventure developer Chelsea Howe discusses the new ports of the title, how it's evolved since launch, and big future plans.
Once you reach the area, interact with a fast-travel mailbox in Gemstone Mountain so you won't have to make the long trek again. To find the luggage you're looking for, head to the southwest portion of Gemstone Mountain, near the wooden path leading to Mount Hothead. The luggage will be on a small cliff edge overlooking the beach, just a bit east of the aforementioned wooden path.
4 My Melody's Lost Luggage
Head To The Base Of Mount Hothead
While Mount Hothead is one of the more irritating areas to explore in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, finding My Melody's luggage in this area is relatively easy once you've reached the area and found Retsuko. This luggage can be found a little east of the first fast-travel mailbox you'll come across in the area, the one that's on the same level as the Pizza Oven.
The Pizza Oven in this area is a great way to make 3-heart gifts for some residents, especially Badtz-Maru, who enjoys the Ultimate Joke Pizza. Also, unlike some other appliances, it does not need to be unlocked. It is readily available for use immediately, as long as you have dough, which is received by gifting things to Retsuko.
There will be a small grassy area near the Mount Hothead mailbox, along the ledge overlooking the shore, and that is where you'll find the luggage. To reach Mount Hothead initially, the quickest way is to go west from the main island, crossing over Moon Island and the other small patches of land there. However, this will require Flippers, as there isn't a direct walking path if you go this way. If you don't have the Flippers, you'll have to take the long way all around Spooky Swamp and Gemstone Mountain.
3 Kuromi's Lost Luggage
Unlock The Snorkel By Befriending Kuromi
To reach Kuromi's, you'll need a tool she gives you through increasing her friendship level: the Snorkel. Once you've unlocked the Deep Dive quest, Kuromi will ask you to retrieve an item of hers from the bottom of a nearby pond and provide you with a Snorkel to do it. After you've returned her item, she will take back her Snorkel and provide you with the plans to make your own. Note that Sparks will be needed for the Snorkel, but you can craft those with Kuromi's stone friendship gift.

Animal Crossing's Hello Kitty Collab Was A Wasted Opportunity
Animal Crossing: New Leaf showed players the potential of amiibo collaborations with Hello Kitty, but Nintendo failed to follow-up when it mattered.
After crafting the Snorkel, it will remain active anytime you're in the water without needing to be equipped. Note that the water has to be deep enough for you to dive, so if you don't see the indicator on your screen with the Snorkel icon, you're not in an area that can be dived in. With the Snorkel in hand, head south of Hangyodon's comedy club and just north of the end of the dock near Chococat, where you'll find Kuromi's luggage sitting on the ocean floor.
2 Hello Kitty's Lost Luggage
Search The Underwater Cliffs Near Gemstone Mountain
While Hello Kitty's luggage can be found in the water, just like Kuromi's, you may need some extra assistance while looking for this one. Kuromi's is relatively easy to find since it's near a couple of markers on the map and an underwater fast travel point, but Hello Kitty's is not. Since you'll need a little extra time to search because of this, you'll likely need to have either some extra stamina or one of the mermaid outfits so you don't run out of air.

Which Hello Kitty Island Adventure Character Are You, Based On Your Zodiac Sign
Hello Kitty Island Adventure has finally leapt from iOS to PC and Nintendo Switch, but which character are you most like, based on your zodiac sign?
Both of these options will allow you to stay underwater for a longer period, so you'll be able to search along the wall without having to resurface as frequently, potentially losing track of where you were searching. Once you can stay underwater a bit longer, head to the southern shore of Gemstone Mountain. From here, you'll want to jump into the water just west of the southern dock, where you'll be able to find Hello Kitty's luggage along the wall on a small underwater ledge.
1 Keroppi's Lost Luggage
Climb To The Top Of Mount Hothead
Unfortunately, Keroppi's may be the one lost luggage that keeps you from finishing this task for a while, as it is found at the top of Mount Hothead, also known as Caldera. You can attempt to shimmy your way up there early on if you want, but you'll just be creating a headache for yourself. It's best to wait until you have at least one extra stamina wheel before you attempt to climb the mountain. However, I recommend having two extra because one may still prove difficult and cause frustration.
In addition to Stamina Apples increasing Stamina, other things that can make this climb easier are Kuromi's potions or even the companion abilities of Hello Kitty Island Adventure residents, like Pekkle's increased climbing speed or Cinnamaroll's balloon boost.
Once you have the extra Stamina from Stamina Apples in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you can ascend Mount Hothead. The obvious path goes up the mountain's northeastern side but requires extra stamina to reach the platforms. If you have lower stamina, I think the southwest side is easier. However, that side is not a designated route like the north side, so you just have to climb up there clumsily. At the top, you'll find Keroppi's luggage on the eastern side of the peak.
