Warning: Spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 6, Episode 6The Pro Heroes of My Hero Academia are getting to prove their hero cred in the anime, as the war's forces of good take on the Paranormal Liberation Front and the villains who run it. Someone who really got a chance to shine in the latest episode was Mount Lady, who took a major spill last time, as she pulled out one of the best combo attacks yet seen on the series.

Mount Lady is a relatively new Pro who's climbed to rank 23, and she possesses a gigantification Quirk that allows her to grow to 67 feet tall. That does come with the usual weaknesses, of course, as she found out after being knocked over and nearly landing on Fat Gum. In this episode, she comes to the aid of Cementoss, a Pro and member of UA's teacher faculty in My Hero Academia whose Quirk allows him to control and create cement. The hero's struggled to battle against Geten, a villain wielder of ice powers who was the one who managed to push Mount Lady to the ground with his ice.

Out to get even for the embarrassment of being knocked down, Mount Lady rushed to Cementoss's aid, keeping the ice from destroying his concrete. Then, Cementoss created a massive tower of cement, which Mount Lady grabbed by the narrow end and snapped it off, picking it up to use as a bat. Now equipped with a weapon fit for a 67-foot tall woman, Mount Lady takes a swing with the cement bat and shatters the ice, sending shards flying everywhere and taking out Geten.

This isn't exactly how it all went down in the manga, however. Originally, in chapter 273, Mount Lady gets back up and rushes over, but Cementoss, while present, doesn't play much of a role. Right as he's about to try to use his Quirk to destroy the ice wall, Mount Lady unleashes a flurry of punches instead, beating the ice into a fine powder snow and launching Geten in the process. While it's not a big change in the grand scheme of things, making this into a combo attack makes the scene infinitely more entertaining, and the pair pull off the attack with such ease that it almost seems as if they've done this before. It also adds a lot of character to the interaction; while the manga's version establishes the same wounded pride motivation for Mount Lady, the combo attack makes the whole thing seem more professional while still conveying her rage. It's more of what fans might expect from a hero.

The series' anime has made its share of changes in adapting My Hero Academia's war arc for season 6, as most series would, but so far all the changes have been fairly positive, expanding on things that were glossed over in the manga and inserting a little more personality and character wherever it can. Mount Lady has been a popular character from her first appearance in My Hero Academia, so giving her a cool scene like this is fan service in the best possible way.
