Of the many collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy, Landing Platforms are among the few that do not appear as icons on the map and are exclusively found in the Highlands. You must use a broom or Mount to discover most of them as they are scattered throughout the open-world map. It is one of the more soothing tasks in the game, as you can see all the beautiful scenery while hunting for platforms.
There are 20 total Landing Platforms scattered across the open world map of Hogwarts Legacy. Some of them are harder to spot, but most of them will be on high points. There are a few exceptions that are noted in the directions below. They are grouped generally by section of the map, including the Northern Regions, Hogwarts Valley & Feldcroft, and the Southern Regions.

Solving & Looking For Landing Platforms
Broom Travel Is Required
There is no specific puzzle needed to solve these Landing Platforms; Simply dismounting and standing on the platform will trigger the collectible. Once found, the platform will begin spinning, and the cauldrons will light on fire when it is done. After starting the first one, the Challenge will be unlocked under the Exploration category in the Field Guide.
One Odd Hogwarts Legacy Detail Could Be A Subtle Hint For The Future Of The Franchise
Hogwarts Legacy may subtly set itself up for a trilogy with one odd story detail that players experience right at the start of the game.
The challenge you unlock will slowly gift you with the Quidditch Captain's Uniform, which you can see in the table below:

For those who are new to the exploration challenges, each Tier is separate. That means to fully unlock Tier 2, you have to first find two Landing Platforms and then find four more for a total of six. Not all challenges require you to find every instance of collectible, but for this particular one, you will have to find all 20 to get the full outfit.
All Landing Platforms in the Northern Regions
All Six Locations
There are six total landing platforms in the northern parts of the Highlands. Of those, there is only one in South Hogwarts, which encomes most of the Castle grounds. Given the closeness to the castle, this is the first region you should explore when looking for all the landing platforms in Hogwarts Legacy since the enemies are low-leveled and the area is relatively small.

North Ford Bog #1 |
Go to Pitt-Upon-Ford and look up toward the clefts to the West. The landing platform is on top of a wooden platform on the cliffs above. |

Hogsmeade Valley #1 |
This landing platform is on the region's northern border, very near the North Ford Bog line. There is a line of balloons just by the landing platform. It is also between a small and medium Bandit camp on another cliff. |

Hogsmeade Valley #2 |
This platform is hidden among the rocks just above a Merlin Trial. From the site of the Merlin Trial in Hogwarts Legacy, look directly up and northwest. The Landing Platform is at the southern end of Hogsmeade Valley. |

North Hogwarts #1 |
This platform is on the cliffs above the river near a small bandit camp, as indicated in the map above. When you near a Bandit camp, they may attack you, but you should be able to fly fast enough to get away unharmed. |

North Hogwarts #2 |
The Hogwarts Castle can be seen to the southeast from this platform. It is north of the river but slightly lower than the highest cliff. It's fairly isolated, which can make it hard to find, but if in doubt, go to the highest cliff you can see and look down. |

South Hogwarts #1 |
This Landing Platform can be a bit tricky to spot. It is just south of the Hamlet of Aranshire. Follow the train tracks a little way south, keeping a sharp eye on the cliffs to the east. It is hidden just below two rocky formations with a tunnel through the center. |

While this is just a small piece of the map, especially compared to the southern regions, this is a fun region to fly around, and you will get stunning views of the castle and Hogsmeade as you do.
All Landing Platforms in Hogwarts Valley and Feldcroft
Seven Total Locations
This region is directly south of Hogwarts, and you can see the castle in the background for some of them. There are seven total landing platforms in Hogwarts Valley & Feldcroft, which you can see in the table below:

This platform is mixed with many other collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy, in and around the ruined castle. There is a Bandit Camp, a Merlin Trial, an Ancient Magic Hotspot, and a Beast Den nearby. The platform is on the ruins across from the main castle. |

Hogwarts Valley #2 |
On the cliff face, fly from the castle toward Feldcroft. The Hogwarts Castle can be seen in the northeast, near the top of the narrow section of the map above Feldcroft. |

Hogwarts Valley #3 |
This platform is actually at a lower elevation. Go to the Mine’s Eye and go to the furthest point where the overlook is. Look nearly straight down, and the landing platform should be visible just above the road. |

Feldcroft #1 |
For this Landing Platform, go to Irondale and look southwest toward the castle ruins in Hogwarts Legacy on the opposing cliffs across the river. The landing platform will be just before the castle ruins. |

Feldcroft #2 |
This platform is in the same area as the nearby Ancient Magic Hotspot. It is just north of that hotspot in the second bit of ruins above it. |

This Landing Platform is at the southern point of the Feldcroft map, nearly at the sea. It is on the cliff above the South Feldcroft Floo Flame travel point in the house below. |

Feldcroft #4 |
From the Bandit Camp, fly directly southeast and upwards. The landing platform is high on the cliffs above. |

Thankfully, this region has an early-game difficulty level for the vast majority of it, so there's no need to worry about being in any serious danger while completing this region's landing platforms.
All Landing Platforms in the Southern Regions
Seven Locations In The Hardest Regions
When it comes to this final area, the southern regions, you will want to wait a bit until you are further along in the game. These areas are significantly more dangerous, so they're mostly unreachable early on. For this reason, if you venture into this region unprepared and under-leveled, you'll likely struggle to reach all the landing platforms. It's best to wait until you're ready to find these last few and just focus on the other regions first.
Normally, you will not be able to enter this region until you a certain point in the main story that allows you to make it through the mine.

Look at the bridge across the river on top of the East Tower near the Ancient Magic Hotspot to find this location. |

From the Coastal Mine Floo Flame, fly south and slightly up. There is a Thestral Den nearby as well. There are two large flags, and the Landing Platform is just below them. |

This Landing Platform is located directly west of the Marunweem Ruins Floo Flame, on the peninsula extending into the sea from Poidsear Coast. |

Manor Cape #1 |
This platform is set within the rock below the cliffs. From the gazebo on the cliff above, look directly down and search the cliff face. Bright Ashwinder eggs are nearby to help spot the landing platform. |

Manor Cape #2 |
This platform is on top of a standalone rock, jetting from the sea. It is also right next to the start of a line of balloons. |

Clagmar Coast #1 |
This landing platform is on the south end of the region in Hogwarts Legacy, looking out over the sea. It is on the last bit of land before the rocky beach. |

Cragcroftshire #1 |
This one can be easy to find once you make your way this far south. It is on top of a tall rock sticking out of the sea. |

After all the Landing Platforms have been activated, you should have acquired the full Quidditch Captain gear set. At this point in the game, you should be able to get all the other collectibles, like the Astronomy Tables in Hogwarts Legacy, with your character's higher level. Once that is completed, you will be able to move on to the next challenge in Hogwarts Legacy with extra stylish gear.
