Harry Potter canon is chock-full of magical locations that would be neat to visit in Hogwarts Legacy, but one particularly beloved area may not make its way to the game, after all. It seems to be missing from all promotional content thus far, and Avalanche Software has yet to mention anything about the location, which may signify their decision to withhold it from the RPG title. This would be a massive disappointment, not only from a lore standpoint but from a gameplay standpoint, too.
Fortunately, there are many fascinating areas that players will in fact be able to explore - and they'll be especially meaningful to players who are well-versed in Harry Potter lore. The map of Hogwarts Legacy contains exciting and iconic locations that are easily recognizable from the book and movie series alike. However, perhaps one of the most cherished places in the wizarding world could be missing in the game, and this would be a big blunder.
Hogwarts Legacy Might Be Missing Diagon Alley

Hogsmeade Might Replace Diagon Alley In Hogwarts Legacy
There have been images that look like Diagon Alley's wand shop, Ollivanders, but Harry Potter lore reveals that this actually isn't the case. According to the fan-run PlayStation s even can visit Hogsmeade themselves.
If Hogwarts Legacy does indeed intend to skip out on Diagon Alley, this would harm the gameplay experience massively. It would be a tragic letdown to some longstanding Harry Potter fans, and it would also miss the perfect opportunity for a tutorial level. In the books and movies alike, Diagon Alley gives Harry - and the reader - their first look into how thinly the wizarding world is separated from the human world. Not only would this make it the perfect introduction for players unfamiliar with the franchise, but it could be a befitting location to learn core gameplay mechanics and become immersed in Hogwarts Legacy's magical environment.
