However, HoYoverse has already detailed that memosprites will be summoned on the field like a fifth playable character rather than the periodic off-field summons invoked by Jing Yuan and Lingsha, for example. Memosprites will be susceptible to buffs from allies, as well as damage from enemies’ attacks. According to the leak, Sparkle and Bronya will allow players to choose one memosprite or a character for the Action Advance mechanics triggered by their respective Skills in Honkai: Star Rail.

The leak then mentions that Robin and the Light Cone called Dance, Dance, Dance will both simultaneously advance the action of all memosprites and characters on the field, meaning their range is much wider than those of Sparkle and Bronya, for example. The final part of the leak mentions how Sunday’s Action Advance will affect the Remembrance mechanic. As seen in the leak, the ability used by Sunday in Honkai: Star Rail will allow players to simultaneously advance the action of both the character and their respective memosprite.

If Sunday targets the Remembrance Trailblazer, the main character and their memosprite will act immediately.

More Mechanics Should Affect Memosprites In Honkai: Star Rail 3.0

Shielding, Healing, & Buffing Will Also Play A Part In The Remembrance Feature

Of course, Action Advance is but one aspect of Harmony characters and it remains to be seen exactly how other types of buffs and mechanics provided by allies will play out with the currently available characters. HoYoverse introduced memosprites by using Aventurine as an example. When shielding allies, his all-encoming shield also protects memosprites, so individual shielders and healers may have to target memosprites alone, as opposed to Aventurine in Honkai: Star Rail, for example.

Even if true, a lot of the information is still subject to change as the beta tests for Version 3.0 progress.
