The leaker mentions that the characters and orders are subject to change. If the game proceeds on its regular six-week schedule for each update, Version 3.0 should arrive on January 15, with Phase 1 banners beginning then and ending on February 5, when the Phase 2 banners are expected to start.

Despite having debuted in Version 2.2 and then rerun again in Version 2.5, Robin is rumored to be making yet another comeback – and this isn’t too much of a shock. Robin is, arguably, the best in the game right now for all types of team comps, but she is the only one that is tailored specifically for follow-up teams. Because of her 25% DMG bonus to follow-up attacks, she is a must-have in team comps led by characters like Feixiao, for example.

While he is arguably weaker than a few other characters like Firefly, Boothill is still a superb DPS unit who specializes in Break DMG and Super Break DMG. A Previous Rumor Indicated Drastic Changes To Character Banners

Even though the information comes from a fairly reliable source and is tagged as such on the Reddit post, the leaked character banners for Version 3.0 may be entirely wrong. This is because of a previous leak about the patch. There had been a leak mentioning a major update to character banners in Honkai: Star Rail, which would make new units debut in Phase 1 banners and be available through the entirety of the patch, while rerun units would only appear in Phase 2 banners.
