Interested players may already start pre-farming Anaxa’s materials for Anaxa’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 indicate what they will be capable of during combat.

The previous leaks had already anticipated that Anaxa’s main specialty, aside from dealing damage to opponents, would be inflicting them with new Weaknesses. The first few leaks had shown that they would be capable of inflicting one new Weakness on all enemies with their Ultimate, but the start of the Version 3.2 beta tests has revealed how they will actually work. According to these most recent leaks, Anaxa’s Ultimate will target all enemies and inflict all seven Weakness types against them, even if for only one round. This leaked Weakness application in Honkai: Star Rail is unprecedented if it’s true.

Anaxa's Materials In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 Have Leaked

Most Materials Can Already Be Pre-Farmed

Before taking advantage of their kit, you’ll need to Ascend the character and, if you intend on pulling for them, you may already start pre-farming all of Anaxa’s materials before Version 3.2. According to information provided by the leaker known as Sakura Haven, all of Anaxa’s materials, both for their Ascension and Trace-leveling processes have been leaked. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. As seen in the leak, most of the listed materials allegedly consumed by Anaxa are currently available in the game and, therefore, possible to pre-farm before Honkai: Star Rail 3.2’s release.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Castorice's Materials Can Be Pre-Farmed

The list of materials consumed by Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 has leaked, showing you may pre-farm most of them before the patch’s release.

Pre-farming these items could be a great way of being ready for Anaxa’s arrival and quickly taking them to level 80 and unlocking all of their Traces. There is a risk to doing this, however. Because these materials are all based on leaks, there is a chance that, during the Version 3.2 beta tests, HoYoverse will change some items. As such, it’s possible that some of the farming efforts turn out useless, as a player farming Lost Echo of the Shared Wish from the Great Septimus boss in Honkai: Star Rail could then be forced to farm Auspice Sliver instead.

One Set Of Materials Will Be Released With Version 3.2

While the leak compiles the total amount of each material type used by Anaxa, it’s possible to deduce how much of each item will be used for their Ascension thanks to their 5-star rating and previous character releases. The leak says that the first set of materials used by Anaxa is composed of Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament. These are part of the same item family and can all be dropped by defeating Black Tide Creature enemies on Amphoreus. If the leak is accurate, these three materials will also be required for Anaxa’s Traces in Honkai: Star Rail.

According to another leak by Sakura Haven, also shared on Reddit, Black Tide Creatures will only become available in Version 3.2, meaning these specific items can’t be pre-farmed.

According to the leak, the second material used in Anaxa’s Ascension is A Glass of Besotted Era. Exclusive to Wind characters, A Glass of Besotted Era can be farmed at the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gloam activity located in the Penacony Grand Theater map. Not many copies are required for a full Ascension, but you’ll need to repeat the activity multiple times to get all 65 copies. For reference, Glass of Besotted Era is listed among Feixiao’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail and, so far, has only been used by her.

To power the Ascension process, you will likely need to invest Credits, too. Based on prior releases, it’s expected that out of the 3,888,100 leaked Credits, you’ll consume 308,000 Credits to unlock all Ascension thresholds plus an extra 508,000 Credits to level up Anaxa with Character EXP Materials – the leak predicts the usage of 287 Traveler’s Guides, nine Adventure Logs, and 16 Travel Encounters. You can farm more Credits at Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasure activities across the various destinations in Honkai: Star Rail.

The Most Important Leaked Trace Materials Are Currently Available In The Game

If the leaks about Anaxa’s enemy drop materials prove to be true, then Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament will also be used to level their Traces. A larger quantity will be needed here in comparison to the Ascension process, so players may find themselves farming several Black Tide Creatures before getting everything that is needed. Unfortunately, this material cannot be pre-farmed, but players already know what enemies they will need to target once Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 is released in early April (if the six-week schedule is maintained for Version 3.1).

The leak also shows that among Anaxa’s materials are Rough Sketch, Dynamic Outlining, and Exquisite Colored Draft, all of which are part of the same item family. These Erudition-exclusive materials can be farmed at the Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Erudition activity located in the Penacony Grand Theater map. A lot of these materials will be required to fully unlock and upgrade all of Anaxa’s Traces, so you may see yourself farming this activity for days on end if not weeks – which is why pre-farming them is a great idea.

to use the Omni-Synthesizer in Honkai: Star Rail to transform lower-grade materials into rarer ones of the same family. This applies to the Erudition materials and the enemy drops from Black Tide Creatures.

Among the leaked materials for Anaxa is a weekly boss item called Lost Echo of the Shared Wish. This boss material drops exclusively from the Harmonious Choir: The Great Septimus boss located in the Penacony Grand Theater. Only 12 copies are needed, but given the weekly limitations on boss challenges, it may take you a few weeks to farm everything that is needed. As such, starting early is the best way to ensure you have enough ready for Anaxa’s release in the Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 banners.

Additionally, high-level Traces will also require Tracks of Destiny, a rare Trace material that can be farmed from the Simulated Universe every week. You can also get more Tracks of Destiny from limited-time events and reputation systems, but the best and most consistent source is the SU. You can also get extra Tracks of Destiny from in-game shops like the Embers Exchange, as well as a reward from the Nameless Honor battle in Honkai: Star Rail.

Lastly, leveling up Traces is usually an expensive process, and given the leak, players will need to invest a total amount of 3,072,100 Credits to unlock and upgrade all of Anaxa’s Traces. This is more than the usual 3,000,000 Credits for 5-star characters, but there has been a leak about a possible increase in the maximum level for Basic Attacks, as seen in a post on Reddit, and that may very well be the source of the extra Credits invested in rounding out the character in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

Overall, you don’t need to worry too much about waiting for farming materials, with the exception of the leaked Black Tide Creature drops. However, regular enemy drops tend to be easy to acquire, so if you pre-farm the rest of the materials, you should be able to quickly unlock all of Anaxa’s raw potential as a rumored debuffing character in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.
