A new quality-of-life update for Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

After this, the next big patch will bring forth a series of new additions to the title, including Castorice and Anaxa as playable characters, as well as new quests that will expand the Amphoreus story arc. In addition to that, players can expect new enemies based on leaks and, because the update is expected to overlap with the game’s anniversary, a series of extra rewards in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2. Among the many new pieces of content to play through, most of which have already leaked, it seems like HoYoverse is also working on system optimizations.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 May Add A 4-Star Relic Auto-Salvage Feature

Players Can Keep Farming Without Worrying About Their Relic Cap

One of these rumored system optimizations involves how players obtain and manage their Relics. According to information provided by the leaker known as Donut, Version 3.2 will introduce a new auto-salvage feature for Relics and Planar Ornaments with 4-star rarities and below. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. Despite the lack of more information within the leak itself, based on what the game offers right now, it seems like players will be able to immediately salvage any 4-star relics or lower while farming them in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Banner Update Leaks: Two Anticipated Characters Will Not Be Added To The New System

A new leak has revealed that two anticipated characters will not be added to the rumored banner 50/50 loss pool system in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

Essentially, this should mean that upon completing a Cavern of Corrosion or Simulated Universe run and obtaining the Relics or Ornaments, respectively, players will be given the option to discard the 4-star items (or those with lower rarities) immediately in exchange for Lost Gold Fragment. This resource provides Relic EXP and can be consumed when leveling up Relics. By using the rumored auto-salvage feature, players should only keep their 5-star Relics in Honkai: Star Rail, and that brings some benefits to the game.

Leaked Feature May Help Keep Honkai: Star Rail Players' Inventories Clean

Players Will Still Have To Manually Filter 5-Star Relics

The most beneficial aspect of this leaked auto-salvage feature is keeping your inventory clean immediately. The game already has a salvage feature that allows you to select Relics and Ornaments of 4-star rarities or lower and trade them for Lost Gold Fragment, but this requires you to leave your farming efforts, access your inventory, and then apply the filter to salvage the desired Relics and Ornaments. With the new rumored feature, players will be able to keep on farming, ignoring lower-grade Relics, and simply keeping the high-end ones that have better stats for their characters in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Remembrance Trailblazer's Worst Feature May Be Corrected With Castorice

Leaks indicate that there may be a change to the Remembrance Trailblazer’s auto-combat behavior with Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

This shouldn’t fix the issues with bad 5-star Relic and Ornament drops, which then have to be manually inspected and selected for salvaging, but it would clear out a lot of inventory space for more incoming 5-star Relics and Ornaments. With it, players can keep farming the best possible gear until they obtain the ideal piece for their desired character build. It’s a minor quality-of-life update, but one that should help in the long run – and even more so with leaked Relic events in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

Leaked Update Should Help With Events In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2

The Game May Feature Triple Relic & Ornament Drops

Honkai Star Rail's Mydei screams as crystals explode from his body.

As was previously mentioned, there have been leaks about Relic and Ornament-centered events in Version 3.2. Because the patch is coinciding with the game’s anniversary, the rumors say that the update will feature the 300% variants of Realm Of The Strange and Planar Fissure, which means players will have a few opportunities to drop triple the amount of Relics and Ornaments when running Caverns of Corrosion and the Simulated Universe, respectively.

If this is true, players will have a prime opportunity to test the leaked auto-salvage feature in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

The leak should be taken with a grain of salt, as it may be incorrect or incomplete, but if it is true, it may be confirmed during the Version 3.2 livestream event this week, which will present all the new content arriving to the turn-based RPG. Following Version 3.0, which kicked off the new year of content, Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 should be one of the larger patches this year, so quality-of-life updates such as the rumored auto-salvage feature shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
