New leaks about Castorice’s memosprite in Castorice’s gameplay kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.
The leaks have shown that Castorice will be centered around a power HP-drain mechanic that she uses against her allies as a means to empower herself. As a Remembrance character, Castorice will have a memosprite, and, based on the leaks, this summon will take the form of a dragon, who will also allegedly benefit from her ingrained HP drain with increased damage. In addition to that, the leaks have also shown Castorice’s broken ability in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, which reportedly allows her to revive any fallen character once per battle, even if she is not on the team comp.
Castorice's Memosprite Is Reported To Have A Whopping 36k Max HP In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2
This Amount Of HP For An Allied Unit Is Unprecedented
Many of the leaks so far had been centered around Castorice, but a new leak has revealed the math behind calculating her memosprite’s Max HP, and the results can be initially astonishing. According to information provided by the leaker HomDGCat, who is currently one of the most reliable leakers, the Max HP of Castorice’s memosprite will be a fixed 36,000 if players are at Equilibrium level 5 or 6, or five times the square of the highest ally target level, but no lower than 2,000 Max HP if players are at Equilibrium level 4 or lower in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Reruns May Never Occur Again With New Character Banner System Changes
A massive set of changes may occur to character banners starting in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2, possibly excluding reruns permanently from the game.
The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Mydei in Honkai: Star Rail, who can increase his Max HP score during battle, struggles to reach such high numbers as easily as Castorice’s leaked memosprite.
Castorice's Memosprite May Not Be As Sturdy As Their Max HP In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 Leads Us To Believe
The Dragon Is Reported To Take Increased Absorption Damage
As large as the figures are, however, it may actually be well-balanced. The initial understanding looking at such a high Max HP count is that Castorice’s memosprite may be unbeatable on the field, but that is not necessarily true. The secret to managing the large Max HP count leaked for Castorice’s dragon may lie in a ive Memosprite Talent. As cataloged on Castorice’s page on Castorice’s memosprite in Honkai: Star Rail may be able to absorb damage for her allies.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 Leaks Say Clear Out Inventories, But For The Best Reason Possible
Players may want to start clearing out their inventories in preparation for Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 if the newest leaks about an event are true.
As seen in the leak, this ability sees that, whenever the memosprite dragon is on the field, it can serve as backup for allies. When allies take DMG, their current HP can be reduced to a minimum of 1. After this, Castorice’s memosprite will bear the DMG against those allies at 500% of the original DMG. This shows that, while ally characters will still sustain damage until 1 HP, they will be unable to die if the memosprite is present, as it will absorb any fatal blows in Honkai: Star Rail. The price it pays, however, is increased damage income.
Essentially, this means that if an enemy strikes an ally with 1 HP for 1,000 DMG, Castorice’s dragon memosprite will take a blow of 5,000 DMG in a single hit. When facing tougher enemies that deal even more damage, the absorption damage that the memosprite will take will be even higher, according to the leaks. Considering that the reports show that Castorice’s HP drain in Honkai: Star Rail will be extremely strong, it shouldn’t be too hard to see allies at 1 HP, which will then automatically trigger the memosprite’s absorption mechanic whenever they would receive fatal damage.
The leaks show that Castorice’s enhanced Skill can consume 40% of all allies’ current HP, which just proves how much HP she can take away from allies.
This is exactly why the large figures leaked for the memosprite’s Max HP don’t make me concerned it will be broken – Castorice’s kit should see that her allies are almost always at low HP counts and, when they do reach 1 HP, the dragon will protect them by taking massive blows, which could see its 36,000 Max HP fully depleted with just a few strong hits from an enemy. How this translates to gameplay with varied team comps remains to be seen, but it may actually prove to be a well-balanced mechanic for Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail 3.2's Castorice Is A Broken Character (But Her Memosprite Might Be The Most Balanced Aspect Of Her Kit)
The Character Could Further Deepen The Issue Of Powercreeps
From what has been shown so far, Castorice is expected to be a fairly broken character. In addition to the aforementioned global revive mechanic, which could set a terrible precedent for future character releases in the turn-based RPG, all of Castorice’s abilities seem a bit overpowered compared to the other units that are currently available in the game. Castorice is expected to have a huge Max HP count and that should translate into high damage output. It’s no news that several characters are powercrept in Honkai: Star Rail, but Castorice seems to be on another level of power level.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Changes To Basic Attacks May Be Buff Some Characters In An Unbelievable Way
Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 may bring forth a massive change to Basic Attacks that could buff some powerful DPS characters, but there’s a catch.
Among what’s been leaked about Castorice so far, the most comforting information about her kit is that her memosprite may have a way of balancing its own high Max HP count. Meanwhile, her immense damage output and broken revival mechanic are still overwhelming, making me concerned for the future of the game. Even so, all of these leaks should still be taken with a minor grain of salt, as they may be incorrect or altered before Castorice’s official release in Honkai: Star Rail’s patch, Version 3.2.
