A new leak about a free reward upgrade in Castorice’s broken ability in Honkai: Star Rail, both of which have been heavily rumored.
The leaks so far have revealed a lot of information about the new characters, especially when it comes to their gameplay kits and tests with various team comps. While new characters are almost certainly in the center of the spotlight when it comes to leaks, the Version 3.2 beta tests have also shown other pieces of content in the update. This includes a possible new material that may tease the arrival of an anticipated playable character, as well as extra rewards for big spenders in Honkai: Star Rail. Now, there have been rumors about increased rewards in the patch.
Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 May Offer More Free Rewards Than Usual
Players May Get 30 Free Pulls In The Patch
An extra amount of free rewards may be provided during Version 3.2. According to information provided by the leaker called HomDGCat, Version 3.2 may feature an increased number of free Star Rail Special es during the regular seven-day period known as Gift of Odyssey. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. As seen in the leak, players may receive a total of 20 Star Rail Special es during the update, as opposed to the regular 10 Special es they obtain in most patches by logging in over seven days in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: New Material Teases The Release Of Anticipated Character
A new material has been leaked during the Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 beta tests and it may hint at the release of an anticipated character.
In addition to the increase in the free rewards, the leaker mentions that players should also have access to an additional one-time reward that will contain 1,600 Stellar Jade and 10 Fuel. If this amount of free Stellar Jade is converted into Star Rail Special es, too, players will technically receive a total of 30 free Star Rail Special es, which can then be used in limited-time character and Light Cone banners. The leaker did not mention the reason why players may get the increased rewards, especially when compared to the Stellar Jade in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1.
Rumored Extra Rewards Could Help Pull New Characters In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2
The Update Will Add Castorice & Anaxa To The Roster
The rumored extra amount of free rewards is great news, as players will have additional resources to put into the limited-time character and Light Cone banners – this is particularly true during Version 3.2. The next patch will introduce both Castorice and Anaxa, two 5-star characters who have been reported to be game-changers in team comps. The former is a Quantum character on the Path of the Remembrance. The leaks about Castorice’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 indicate that she will deal an immense amount of damage to enemies based on the HP she drains from her allies.

Honkai: Star Rail Is Pushing Power Creep Too Much, & It May Kill The Game Early
Honkai: Star Rail's newest characters have begun worrying trends that may doom one of gaming's most successful games if it doesn't get corrected.
Alternatively, Anaxa is a Wind character on the Path of the Erudition. While they are rumored to live up to the reputation of the Path by targeting all opponents, their specialty may not be restricted to dealing damage. According to Anaxa’s leaked gameplay kit, the 5-star character excels at inflicting new Weaknesses on enemies, being capable of doing so with any of their attacks. However, the secret lies with their leaked Ultimate, which allegedly inflicts all seven Weaknesses on all enemies. With extra rewards, players may have a better chance to obtain the new characters in Honkai: Star Rail.
Aside from the new characters and their signature Light Cones, which should significantly enhance their performance on the field, players could also use these rumored resources for the reruns in the patch.
According to the leaked character banners in Version 3.2, Dr. Ratio is having his very first rerun in the game since Version 1.6, so players who missed out on his banner and free distribution period may finally get a chance to pull for him. The leak also lists Acheron, Jiaoqiu, and Aventurine as other 5-star rerun characters, which is extremely enticing considering at least Acheron and Aventurine are among some of the very best characters in the game. Jiaoqiu is a great , especially for Acheron, but there may be exciting options in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.
Even if players choose to not use their rumored rewards from Version 3.2 in the patch, they could also save up for any of the future character releases. The leaks say that Hyacine and Cipher are the next playable characters in HoYoverse’s release pipeline, followed by Phainon and the rumored Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works collab characters. Regardless of what players choose to do with the rumored extra rewards from the patch, this is a meaningful gift that could increase their odds of getting the characters they want in Honkai: Star Rail.
Leaked Increased In Free Rewards Could Be A Celebration Of Honkai: Star Rail’s Second Anniversary
It Could Also Be Indicative Of Fewer Events In The Patch
While the leak does not specify the reason why players may have an increased number of free rewards in Version 3.2, it’s possible to speculate that this will occur because of the game’s second anniversary. Version 3.2, which should run from April 9 through May 20, will overlap with the game’s anniversary on April 26. As such, it’s very likely that these extra rewards will be a means of thanking players for their continued and celebrating Honkai: Star Rail’s third year of content. However, it could also be indicative of fewer events during the patch.

Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Show Disheartening Update On Mr. Reca's Rumored Release
Mr. Reca’s rumored release in Honkai: Star Rail seems to have undergone a disappointing update that could heavily affect the current meta.
Something similar has occurred in the past. In Version 2.5, players received the Gift of Comet, an extra bundle of rewards that was useful, but that made up for an update with fewer events from which they could draw Stellar Jade. This is likely not the case in Version 3.2, considering the game is deep in Amphoreus content and celebrating its anniversary. As such, the rumored extra gifts in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 are likely just a means of celebrating the game and rewarding players for participating in the turn-based RPG’s history.
