A leak for Amphoreus in Honkai: Star Rail. The Version 3.1 beta tests, however, have started.

This allows information to be leaked ahead of its official reveal by the developer. The Version 3.1 leaks have already revealed that the patch will bring new maps to expand Amphoreus, as well as the kits for Mydei and Tribbie, both of whom have already been confirmed as playable characters by HoYoverse. Mydei is expected to be a main DPS in team comps thanks to his alignment with the Destruction. The latter is a Harmony character, which would normally make her a , but Tribbie’s leaked kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 indicates she may even operate as a sub-DPS.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 Leaks Show MoC Will Reward Weakness Application

Enemies With Extra Weaknesses Will Take Extra Damage

Even though the Version 3.1 leaks are more easily obtained thanks to the beta tests, some leaks about future patches are already starting to emerge. According to information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, MoC will add a new mechanic called Memory Turbulence in Version 3.2. The leaker states that when an ally uses a Skill or Memosprite Skill to attack, one random enemy target will get one random Weakness that they don’t have, and the corresponding RES to that elemental type is decreased in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Review: An Impressive Expansion To Initiate Amphoreus’ Campaign

Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 has kicked off the turn-based RPG’s third year of content with a lot of style, despite the presence of some lackluster elements.

The leak also says that at the start of every Cycle, the Memory Turbulence mechanic will deal one instance of fixed True DMG to a random enemy. Furthermore, for every opponent that has more than three Weakness Types, every extra Weakness Type adds one instance of DMG. It seems like this leaked mechanic for Memory of Chaos in Version 3.2 will largely benefit the application of Weaknesses to enemies. While most types of team comps should be able to apply them through Skills, some parties will have an advantage, such as those led by Silver Wolf in Honkai: Star Rail.

Anaxa May Benefit From MoC’s Leaked Mechanic In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2

Rumors Say Anaxa Can Apply Weaknesses On Enemies

While Silver Wolf is the immediate thought of a possible character who would thrive under Memory of Chaos’ Memory Turbulence thanks to her ability to apply extra Weaknesses on enemies, there is another character who may benefit from it: Anaxa. The Amphoreus character, who has yet to be released, has already had a few leaks about them shared, and it seems they will have a similar power to Silver Wolf’s. According to Anaxa’s leaked kit in Honkai: Star Rail, the rumored 5-star character will be able to apply extra Weaknesses on enemies via a combo of two of their abilities.

Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Leaks: Should You Pull For Mydei If You Already Have Blade?

Leaks about Mydei’s possible gameplay kit in Honkai: Star Rail have prompted immediate comparisons to Blade, another Destruction character.

As seen in the leak, Anaxa’s Talent can help them apply a random Weakness on opponents when they are damaged by Anaxa’s Ultimate. Anaxa may be an even better Weakness applicator than Silver Wolf because their Talent allegedly inflicts all enemy targets rather than one per Skill usage. Of course, Anaxa may be reliant on Energy for their Ultimate, but that may easily be resolved with some investment into Energy Regeneration Rate in their gameplay kit. Regardless of how it may work, specifically, Anaxa may be the best unit for the Memory of Chaos activity in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2.

If the leaks about Memory Turbulence and Anaxa’s kit are true, the rumored 5-star character should be able to consistently guarantee that the extra instances of True DMG affect opponents. This is because not only should the rest of the team help to damage enemies with their Skills, thus applying a new Weakness, but Anaxa may be able to apply extra Weaknesses to all targets with a single Ultimate usage, thus hitting the three-Weakness threshold required by the leaked Memory Turbulence mechanic. This should also stack up with any bonuses Anaxa may have from inflicting Weaknesses in Honkai: Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Leaks: Herta's Store May Get A Much-Needed F2P Update

A new F2P 5-star Light Cone has been leaked for Honkai: Star Rail, showing that Herta’s Store will receive an exciting new update in the patch.

Players will actually have to obtain Anaxa to use them in Memory of Chaos, but it could be a great way to market their value. If Anaxa outperforms other 5-star units thanks to their leaked ability, combined with the rumored Memory Turbulence mechanic, they will stand out, possibly to the point that they are considered a necessity to max out MoC whenever the leaked mechanic is active. It could also put a spotlight on how more valuable they may be than Silver Wolf, who is already strong thanks to her ability to inflict Weaknesses, but at a limited pace.

Remembrance Characters May Show Their Worth In Honkai: Star Rail 3.2’s MoC

Castorice Is Rumored For Version 3.2

Honkai Star Rail's Castorice touches something.

While Anaxa is allegedly the most straightforward way of applying Weaknesses to enemies, possibly making them the strongest unit for MoC in Version 3.2, Remembrance characters may also thrive. This is because the leaked Memory Turbulence mechanic inflicts Weaknesses whenever a character’s Skill or a Memosprite Skill hits an enemy. For now, Aglaea and Remembrance Trailblazer’s Skills only serve to summon their memosprites, but rumors are that Version 3.2 will introduce Castorice, a new Amphoreus character in Honkai: Star Rail who follows the Remembrance.

Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Leaks: Should You Save Pulls For Mydei Or Tribbie?

Mydei and Tribbie are the confirmed 5-star characters arriving in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 and leaks have provided details about their kits.

With Castorice, there is a chance that Skill will also deal damage – if this is the case, she could stack up her own Skill with her memosprite’s Skill to double the times that enemies get inflicted with Weaknesses via the Memory Turbulence mechanic. As such, the leaked mechanic for Memory of Chaos may be a way of putting the limelight on both Anaxa and Castorice, the two rumored 5-star characters arriving with Version 3.2.

For now, these leaks should be taken with a huge amount of caution, as they are not only distant, but they could be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change. What is being reported right now will still have to go through beta tests, and even then, they may change more. Nevertheless, this seems like an ingenious way of rewarding players who pull for Anaxa or Castorice in Version 3.2, should they be the new 5-star characters of that specific Honkai: Star Rail update.
