Using Aglaea’s best build in Aglaea’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail and get her to the maximum level, you can start working on optimizing her build.
Aglaea is a 5-star Lightning character capable of summoning a memosprite called Garmentmaker into battle. Along with her summon, Aglaea’s main focus in combat is dealing large amounts of damage to opponents and striking repeatedly, due to her high SPD stat (which she can increase through her kit) and units in her team comp that give her buffs and advance her actions. Aglaea can gain extra ATK based on her SPD, too, which further boosts her damage output. Aglaea’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail also allows her to apply Seam Snitch on an enemy, making them sustain Additional DMG.
Best Light Cones For Aglaea
There Aren’t Too Many Remembrance Options (Yet)
To start working on Aglaea’s build, you will need to give her a Light Cone to work with, even if there aren’t currently too many Remembrance options. The best Light Cone for Aglaea is Time Woven Into Gold, her signature 5-star weapon. This Light Cone increases the ’s SPD by 12 and after they and their memosprite attack, the gains one stack of Brocade. Each stack increases the ’s and their memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 9%, up to six stacks. At maximum stacks, each Brocade stack also increases Basic Attack DMG by 9%. This plays right into Aglaea’s rotation.
The table below lists the best builds for Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail, including recommended Light Cones, suggested Relics, ideal stats, and more:

Because Aglaea’s kit revolves around traditional DMG and SPD buffs to cater to her damage output, Time Woven Into Gold works perfectly. Furthermore, it boosts her memosprite’s powers and even boosts Basic Attack DMG, which is the core of her kit. If you don’t have access to this Light Cone, there is still another 5-star option, though only in Version 3.1. According to Honey Hunter World, Memory’s Curtain Never Falls is a new 5-star Light Cone arriving with Version 3.1 and, based on the effects it provides, it could serve Aglaea, but in a much more contained manner.
According to the leak, Memory’s Curtain Never Falls increases the ’s SPD by 6% and after they use their Skill, it increases the DMG dealt by all allies by 8% for three turns. the DMG buff that it provides is somewhat dispensable since other allies should be helping Aglaea, but you could benefit from the SPD boost. Additionally, because this is rumored to be a F2P weapon obtainable from Herta’s store in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1, you could easily get it to S5, which increases the SPD buff to 12% and the DMG buff to 16%.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: Castorice's Splash Art Sketch May Seem Ludicrous, But It Holds One Important Secret About Her Gameplay Kit
Castorice’s splash art in Honkai: Star Rail has been the topic of a ludicrous illustration, but the rudimentary artwork may be hiding a secret.
Because one of Memory’s Curtain Never Falls’ effects is dispensable, you may prefer to use the best 4-star Light Cone for Aglaea, Sweat Now, Cry Less. The weapon increases the ’s CRIT Rate by 12% and when their memosprite is on the field, the ’s and their memosprite’s DMG dealt is increased by 24%. The prerequisites for this bonus are near to nothing, since Aglaea should have Garmentmaker active all the time, and the offensive buffs are incredible – so much so that it sures Memory’s Curtain Never Falls, although it offers a lower Base ATK in Honkai: Star Rail.
Another 4-star Light Cone that is arguably better than the F2P 5-star weapon is called Geniuses’ Greetings. The Light Cone increases the ’s ATK by 16% and after they use their Ultimate, it increases the ’s and their memospite’s Basic ATK DMG dealt by 20% for three turns. This is, essentially, the 4-star version of Time Woven Into Gold, but still worse than Sweat Now, Cry Less.

Honkai Star Rail Leaks: Amphoreus Character May Be Yet Another Surprise For Welt
A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has put the spotlight on an Amphoreus character design, which may resemble yet another figure from Welt’s past.
The final 4-star Light Cone that Aglaea could use is Victory In A Blink, which increases the ’s CRIT DMG by 12%. When the ’s memosprite uses an ability on ally targets, all ally targets’ DMG dealt is increased by 8% for three turns. Only the CRIT DMG bonus serves Aglaea since Garmentmaker only targets enemies. There aren’t too many options yet, but the roster of Remembrance Light Cones should expand with patches.
Best Relics, Ornaments, & Stats For Aglaea
The Two Sets Were Designed For Her
While there are some Relic options for early-game content, the best Relic set for Aglaea is Hero of Triumphant Song. Its two-piece bonus increases the ’s ATK by 12%. The four-piece bonus increases the ’s SPD by 6% when their memosprite is on the field. Additionally, when their memosprite attacks, it increases the ’s and the memosprite’s CRIT DMG by 30% for two turns. With this nearly guaranteed CRIT DMG bonus, players can instead put a bit more effort into boosting Aglaea’s CRIT Rate in Honkai: Star Rail.
When it comes to Ornaments, the best Ornament set for Aglaea is The Wondrous BananAmusement Park. The set’s two-piece bonus increases the ’s CRIT DMG by 16%. Additionally, when the has a summon on the field, CRIT DMG is increased by an extra 32%.
Overall, Aglaea can have a free 78% CRIT DMG bonus at all times on the field, requiring less investment when building her via stats and sub-stats.
When farming these for Aglaea, your focus should be increasing her SPD above one of the thresholds. This means 135 SPD minimum. The one point over the threshold would allow her to act before the unit that advances her action (provided the has exactly 134 SPD, for example, thus allowing her to strike twice in a row. The other stats to increase are CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, as well as ATK and Lightning DMG. A bit of Energy Regeneration Rate is also welcome for Aglaea, as it can help fuel her Ultimate in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best Team Comps For Aglaea
The 5-Star Lightning Character Is At Her Best As A Hypercarry DPS
Aglaea is a superb DPS and she works at her best when she is inserted in a hypercarry team comp centered around her and forwarding her actions. As such, she reaches her peak potential when aided by Sunday and Robin simultaneously, as they provide action advance and incredible offensive buffs that make her even stronger. It’s also necessary to have a powerful sustain character in Honkai: Star Rail because, for all her power, Aglaea is somewhat frail and needs to be healed consistently. Huohuo is the best healer for the job since she will also grant offensive buffs.
The table below lists a few team comp suggestions for Aglaea:

Budget-Friendly (F2P) Team Comp |

If you’re going F2P, the Remembrance Trailblazer is an almost necessary companion, as they are an incredible unit for her offensive abilities – Mem, their memosprite, grants an automatic CRIT DMG buff, too, making Aglaea even stronger than usual. s like Asta or Tingyun are also great to run alongside Aglaea in a F2P scenario, and Lynx is your go-to choice since she can dispel debuffs, something that Natasha cannot.
Skill (Trace) Priority For Aglaea
Basic Attack & Ultimate Are Her Bread & Butter
When you are leveling Aglaea, the most important skills in her kit are her Basic Attack and her Ultimate, which will carry you through most fights. Aglaea’s Talent is also extremely important, as it increases the odds of Garmentmaker surviving and the Additional DMG she deals to enemies with Seam Stitch. The last priority, after you’ve leveled other Traces, is her Skill, which is less important and is less used during her rotation.

Honkai Star Rail 3.2 Leaks: New MoC Mechanic May Push For Anaxa
Memory of Chaos may get a new gameplay mechanic in Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 that should be perfect for Anaxa, a rumored new Amphoreus character.
Despite being a character from an entirely new Path, Aglaea plays like most other DPS units in the game, with the exception of her increased focus on SPD – which is not entirely new, but a bit rare. Paying attention to these details and thoroughly spending time farming the proper gear can grant you one of the strongest Lightning DPS characters in Honkai: Star Rail, rivaling, if not suring, Acheron in the game.
