The writing team behind Horizon Zero Dawn has gained much acclaim for their work in the experiential style of videogame storytelling, including the coveted Award for Achievement in Videogame Writing in 2018 from the Writers Guild of America. This new series, which will feature a deep dive into the lore of the game world, will precede a sequel game, Horizon Forbidden West, coming out sometime in 2021 which will continue the adventures of Aloy following her victory in The Battle of Alight, where she fought alongside Erend and the Oseram Vanguard in a desperate battle to save both Meridian and mankind.
