The signs of the zodiac all have unique personality profiles that are distinct and memorable. All the way from the aggressive Aries to the otherworldly Pisces, each sign has some signature traits that nearly everyone born under it can relate to in some way.
And although the world of movie monsters might not seem like it has a natural connection to the world of the zodiac, these creatures and characters often have a few singular traits that define them as well. So, which of the most famous movie monsters in the world best represent each sign of the zodiac?
Aries - The Predator
Obviously all movie monsters tend to attack their prey, but none is as aggressive or physically talented as the Predator. While many movie monsters are monsters by nature, the Predator has developed itself into the strongest warrior in the galaxy.
That kind of physical dominance and aggression suits the Aries personality quite well.
Taurus - The Terminator
Taurus is a sign represented by the bull, and although they don't stick out in a crowd unless they want to, they will diligently and determinedly work towards their goal. And if anyone makes the mistake of believing that they can put a Taurus off course, they'll be the ones moving before a Taurus moves.
So then, a movie monster like the Terminator really meshes with the Taurus style.
Gemini - The Thing
Geminis are exceedingly clever, and while their representative the twins might hint at some duplicitous behavior, the reality is that Geminis just know what parts of themselves to show to the right people.
And in that sense, a horror villain like the Thing seems to be a literal manifestation of that very Gemini personality trait.
Cancer - Pennywise The Clown
Cancers are an extremely emotional and intuitive sign, and they're very in touch with themselves as well as in touch with others.
So if there was an evil version of that typical Cancer makeup, then it would be Pennywise the clown. This evil clown (or what often appears as a clown) uses the emotions and fears of it's prey to manipulate them exactly where he wants them.
Leo - Godzilla
Leos are represented by the lion, and everyone knows that the lion is quite prideful. If a Leo is ever anywhere, everyone else in the room knows it. They like to be at the center of attention and they don't mind redirecting the spotlight towards themselves.
Their horror movie monster version would clearly be Godzilla, a monster who just goes out on a rampage and gets as much attention as possible.
Virgo - Regan/Pazuzu
As anyone might be able to surmise on their own, Virgos are typically known for their innocence and purity.
So there is some irony to the fact that the demon Pazuzu decided to possess someone as pure and innocent as Regan MacNeil. The demon knows how to use Regan's innocence as a weapon, which is what any evil Virgo would do.
Libra - Frankenstein
Although Libras are normally very social and quite open, it can be hard to get a read on them because they're all over the place. They love balance and fairness, so they can often see from many different points of view and sides of an argument.
So they would be the best match with something like Frankenstein, a monster that isn't just one thing, but an amalgamation of many.
Scorpio - Dracula
Scorpios are the dark, mysterious, and bafflingly enticing sign of the zodiac. Although they can be very closed off, everyone is drawn in by them.
So any old movie monster wouldn't suit them. The seductive, manipulative, and more "upscale" monster Count Dracula is the best representation of this sneaky and sensual sign of the scorpion.
Sagittarius - Werewolf
On the other hand, a sign like Sagittarius is probably much better represented by a more feral and animalistic movie monster, like the classic werewolf.
Sags are clever, but they can often be ruled by their ions and impulses. They're also typically very jovial, but once someone earns their ire, it can be like they've become a different person, and their anger can be pretty fearsome.
Capricorn - Jaws
Quiet, slow, methodical, and direct are all words that could be used to describe Capricorn, and they're also words that can be used to describe the legendary shark, Jaws.
Capricorns aren't showboats and they're natural loners, so when they've decided to do something they'll just do it, and by the time anyone notices it'll already be done.
