To Rhaenyra, Daemon's Crimes Didn't Matter
There's no doubt that Daemon is one of the most power-hungry characters in House of The Dragon, and he makes no bones about it. He has killed, maimed, and conspired by himself to get titles and inheritances, but Rhaenyra casts a blind eye on it.

While Daemon Targaryen had harshly burned his brother numerous times, he thought his place as heir was confirmed. Still, even as he threw a tantrum on Dragonstone, Rhaenyra was the only one who could calm him down, despite the disrespect he felt.
Splitting The Targaryen Trio
Viserys, Daemon, and Rhaenyra seemed like a trio that would stick together from the beginning of the show, but it got split up into the fourth episode of House of The Dragon. Viserys Targaryen dotes on his daughter, so it was no surprise that the romance between Daemon and her became awkward for them very quickly.
With young Rhaenyra, it seemed as if Viserys was always trying to keep her out of trouble (and Daemon's clutches) but she just did what she liked as he watched dejectedly.
High Valyrian Conversations
The uncle and niece shared a great rapport, even before they realized their feelings for each other and got intimate. They were always friendly and understood each other well, and fans particularly love watching their conversations with each other in High Valyrian.
The language was sacred and only the Valyrian Houses knew it. It was their way of having important and intense talks with each other, which were always deep and nuanced. When they spoke of life's joys or lows, or about their love for each other, it was privately in their native language.

A Rollercoaster Relationship
Daemon and young Rhaenyra got together in House of The Dragon in a whirlwind fashion, with the Prince taking her on a forbidden journey through Flea Bottom, and its bars and brothels. He was the catalyst to Rhaenyra's sexual awakening, but that didn't guarantee them a happy ending.
Daemon left her, and she went to Ser Criston to fulfill her desires. What started as a simple outing became a big milestone for the two of them.
Daemon's Love Triangle
While their love story seemed perfect, there were several hindrances, Rhea Royce being one of them. Daemon was lawfully wedded to her for years but had not stuck around by his wife.
He had no interest in mending his relationship with his actual wife but decided to pursue Rhaenyra instead, much to the chagrin of Viserys and his court.
Rhaenyra, 10 Years Later
Daemon and Rhaenyra could not marry when they wanted to in the Princess' youth, so both of them married others as they were expected to. Rhaenyra married Laenor Velaryon and Daemon married his sister Laena.
The Targaryens did not see each other for 10 years, and this meme goes down a metaphysical route by imagining Daemon's shock when he sees Rhaenyra, a decade later, as a completely different woman, while he hasn't changed at all.
Daemon's Realization
Of the Targaryens, Daemon did not have great luck in his second marriage. Poor Laena met her end due to childbirth after 10 years of marriage, and while Daemon seemed to mourn her death, it is clear that he will pursue Rhaenyra again.
Since the two are destined to be together, fans are sure that Daemon's wily ways will come into play again.
