When Does House of the Dragon Episode 10 Come Out On HBO?
House of the Dragon episode 10, "The Black Queen," releases on Sunday, October 23, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. EST on HBO and HBO Max. This was the same primetime release slot that Game of Thrones' eight seasons held on HBO during its original run. In the UK, House of the Dragon's season 1 episodes are released on Mondays at 2 a.m. through Sky Atlantic and NOW.
How Many Episodes Of House of the Dragon Are There?
Much like its predecessor, House of the Dragon season 1 has a total of 10 episodes, with the episode runtimes averaging about one hour each. House of the Dragon will require four seasons of 10 episodes each to do the Dance of the Dragons story justice.
House of the Dragon Release Schedule
House of the Dragon season 1's final episode will be released on HBO and HBO Max. After taking place entirely in King's Landing during House of the Dragon episode 9, the season 1 finale will prioritize the characters on Dragonstone. As such, while episode 9 was a story about Aegon's green council, episode 10 will focus on Rhaenyra's black council. Following House of the Dragon's season 1 finale premiere at 9 p.m. ET on October 23, the series isn't expected to return for season 2 on HBO/HBO Max until 2024.
