Denise Richards is reportedly "saddened" by her teenage daughter's decision to move out of Denise's 17-year-old daughter recently posted a video on TikTok that hinted at tension with her mother. Sami Sheen claimed she moved out of an abusive and toxic household and dropped out of school as a result. Amid the shocking reports, it's being said that Denise is crushed by her daughter's actions.
It was assumed that Sami moved in with Charlie after she previously claimed her mother tried to kick her out. Sources say Sami grew tired of Denise's rules and opted to move in with her more laid-back father. Charlie also hinted at having his daughter after saying she was doing well and they were working to get her a GED. The family drama comes after Denise's dramatic exit from RHOBH following Brandi Glanville's accusations of having had an affair with Denise. The claims were so shocking, Denise responded with cease-and-desist letters before exiting the franchise for good.
But it doesn't look like leaving the show lessened any of the issues at home. Denise's daughter recently put their family strain on blast on social media in a video claiming she moved out of a toxic household. Now, sources for Denise are revealing how distraught she is over Sami's actions. “Sami is a teenager, who didn’t like her mother’s rules,” a source told HollywoodLife. “Like any mother and household, there are rules in Denise’s. She and Charlie have different rules and styles of parenting and [they] didn’t see eye to eye. Sami decided she liked Charlie’s rules better and wanted to go and live with her father, where she currently is staying." The Wild Things star is "incredibly saddened" by the family woes, "but knows she is doing her best as a mother.”
Charlie recently released a statement expressing joy for having his teenage daughter with him. Denise and Charlie have maintained a co-parenting relationship after she filed for divorce while six months pregnant with their second daughter. Charlie has a name that proceeds him in Hollywood. However, when it comes to his role as a father, Charlie doesn't mind stepping up to the plate. Fans have speculated if Sami's claims of abuse have anything to do with Denise's current husband Aaron Phyphers.
During Denise's two seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Aaron's anger was put on full display. He even squeezed Denise's hand in an alarming manner that concerned many viewers. When Brandi came forward with claims of Denise and Aaron having an open marriage, hence their alleged hookup, the cast was split on who to believe. Denise vehemently denied Brandi's claims. However, Brandi has yet to retract her statement and say she was lying. Denise surprisingly appeared at the season 10 reunion, but it was the last time she was seen before making her exit. It's clear Denise has more than enough real-life drama to follow should she ever choose to return to the show.
