All group chats will be automatically notified regardless of whether the chooses to notify their s or not. Finally, to the new number with WhatsApp, s will have to it using a 6-digit verification code that will be delivered via SMS.

It is also important to ensure that the old phone number is still ed with WhatsApp. s can check the ed phone number by going over to their WhatsApp settings menu and tapping on their profile photo.
