Interact with the Billboard to find a riddle on the notice board that says, "In the light of alternating day cycles, one can see the homeward figure of the beacon on the bridge." After Paimon expresses her confusion about the note, Kamal, the Branch Master of the Adventurer's Guild in Sumeru, will talk to the Traveler about the author of the riddle, Drusus. Drusus is an unusual Akademiya researcher attempting to test adventurers' wits by leaving hints scattered about Sumeru City. If someone manages to solve all of these riddles, he will reward the individual with a prize for solving the puzzle in Genshin Impact.
By examining the first message on the Bulletin Board, Genshin Impact fans can deduce that the first Riddle Note of the Billboard Puzzle is around the docks by the Yazadaha Pool. Accordingly, leave the puzzle's starting location and head towards the pier in the south. Next, players must make their way down to the docked sailboat and dive into the water beneath the wooden pathway. After entering the Grand Bazaar's location, walk to the fountain to the right of the entrance, where a young girl named Kumari is standing. Then, jump into the pond behind the hedge and investigate the right side of the water to find the second Riddle Note of the Billboard Puzzle in Sumeru City.
The Billboard Puzzle's Third Riddle Note Location In Sumeru City
The second Riddle Note says, "The sole path to knowledge," hinting at where the third note can be found. Open the map and fast-travel to the Waypoint near the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Go up the ramp and into The Akademiya's main lobby. Continue through the building to the door leading to the House of Daena in the back. In this library, Genshin Impact fans will find a small over going through the hallway. Jump off either side of the bridge to find a hidden Exquisite Chest in Genshin Impact that contains the third Riddle Note beneath the main path.
The Billboard Puzzle's Fourth Riddle Note Location In Sumeru City
The third Riddle Note states, "The flowers in the pond are blooming, with watery pools lingering." This vague description refers to a small pond near the winding path to the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Therefore, teleport to the Sanctuary's Waypoint and face southwest. Go towards the edge of the circular platform and jump off, safely gliding down to the walkway below. Follow the street northward until the path begins to curve to the right and upward. Look to the right to find a floating box semi-hidden in the pool's greenery. Drop into the water, swim to the crate, and investigate it to receive the fourth and last Riddle Note of the Billboard Puzzle in Genshin Impact.
The Billboard Puzzle's Final Riddle Solution In Sumeru City
Check the Inventory to read the final Riddle Note — "Please go to the front door of the Temple of Knowledge at noon." For the last time, fast-travel to the Waypoint near the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Go up the sloping pathway on the right to reach the entry area of the Sanctuary. Following the note's instructions, open the in-game pause menu and select the clock. Change the time of day to 12 p.m. that the hour does not have to be precisely noon, as the target NPC will appear anytime between 12 and 12:30 p.m.
After skipping time, Drusus should spawn on the left side of the platform leading to the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Genshin Impact fans can approach the scholar and tell him they've solved his series of riddles. After a short dialogue sequence, he will disappear, and a notification will pop up, indicating the "I've Got It! I've Got It!" Achievement in Genshin Impact has been unlocked. Afterward, players will receive their well-earned Hero's Wits ×3 and Primogems ×5 reward. As of now, it is unknown if Travelers are able to skip ahead to the fourth and final Riddle Note to spawn Drusus at noon near the Sanctuary. Still, the whole process of finding all of the Billboard Puzzle's notes in Sumeru City should take players roughly 4 to 6 minutes, which is relatively short compared to Achievement-related quests like "Iwakura Out" in Genshin Impact.
