Fear is festive in the Phasmophobia winter event. Like last year, players can meet with a very dead, very irritated Santa ghost, but Santa's ghost isn't a mimic appearance in this year's event. Instead, 2022's Santa needs to be summoned with chocolate chip cookies.
The Santa summoning event isn't available on every map, which is understandable because trying to find cookies in Sunny Meadows or the Prison hardly seems possible. The maps with the summoning event are on the smaller side: 6 Tanglewood Drive, 42 Edgefield Road, Bleasdale Farmhouse,10 Ridgeview Court, Grafton Farmhouse, 13 Willow Street, and Camp Woodwind. Players can summon Santa once they bring the plate of six found cookies to the haunted room in Phasmophobia.
How to Summon Santa with Cookies
An empty plate accompanied by a glass of milk and a candy cane is on the desk next to the truck's computer. As players pick up cookies, they will automatically appear on the plate. They function like bones in that they don't count as held items. Each map only has six cookies, so they all need to be found to summon Santa. that cookies will always spawn in the same location on a map. Tanglewood, for example, always has cookies on the table near the entrance, on the kitchen table's blue vase, and in the basement on the coffee table. Unfortunately, that table will sometimes have Phasmophobia's infamous Ouija Board.
According to the Youtube channel Th3BeardedBaron, after filling the plate with all six cookies, it can be picked up and brought into the building. The summoning location is the same as the map's ghost, where most ghost activity occurs. Ghost Santa is impatient and doesn't care if the plate is on the ground before he spawns. As soon as the plate is visibly held, Santa can be summoned, and it will begin a hunt immediately if anyone is inside the house with the ghost. The hunt will start where the plate was set.
Dropping the plate down immediately and bailing into another room is recommended if Phasmophobia difficulty setting.
