Black Ops 6 Merry Mayhem event screen to unlock Maelstrom

You must unlock the Maelstrom Shotgun through the Merry Mayhem event that is running from December 5 to December 19 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The weapon is the Mastery Reward for the event, and you'll have to work your way through it to arrive at the grand prize.

Unlike unlock method for the Sirin 9mm.

As you play your preferred mode, you'll accumulate XP that will advance the event's progress bar. You can check your progress by visiting the Events tab in Black Ops 6 or Warzone.

The Maelstrom is Black Ops 6's third Shotgun available to players, but it's the only one with fully automatic capabilities and also features solid range and handling. The Maelstrom also boasts several attachments, including Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, and Fire Mods. While the weapon will pack a punch when you hold down the trigger, keep in mind that you'll need to for its high recoil, and it's not a good fit for distance.

We recommend jumping into a Nuketown or Face-Off playlist to level up the weapon as quickly as possible in Black Ops 6. The weapon will excel in smaller battlegrounds, but you still may want to use a Double XP Token to speed up the process further. This will help you make the most of the Maelstrom and its capabilities.
