Phase 4 is ending with Thunderbolts, and the continuation of the stories of some well-established and popular characters… but there are some important names missing from the Multiverse Saga’s plans.

Among those is Spider-Man, who has been a key player in the Multiverse Saga so far thanks to the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and they will surely continue to be felt through the rest of Phase 4 and 5 – and yet, Spider-Man isn’t included in the Multiverse Saga… for now.

Will Spider-Man 4, 5 & 6 Be In The Multiverse Saga?

Tom Holland Spiderman No Way Home

After a long wait, a Spider-Man: Far From Home, and his biggest adventure since Endgame came with No Way Home. At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter made Strange cast a spell that would make the world forget Peter Parker, and so the movie ended with Peter starting a new life all by himself, as none of his loved ones know who he is. This is far from the end for Spider-Man, as a sequel and a new Spider-Man trilogy were confirmed to be in development in November 2021, but it’s unknown when the web-slinger will return to the MCU.

Now, with Kevin Feige shared that Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and spider-Man will lead the street-level part of the MCU, so there are definitely plans to bring him back in the near future.

After a lot of speculation over a possible Avengers 5 and what the next big event/crossover in the MCU would be, Marvel confirmed that the Multiverse Saga will end with two massive events: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. It’s still unclear who could form the new Avengers team (though it risks being an overpowered Avengers lineup), but it seems unlikely that Spider-Man wouldn’t be part of it, more so as his actions in No Way Home had big repercussions in the multiverse. The final phase of the Multiverse Saga is still in development, and the events in Phase 5 will be key in building Phase 6 and deciding which characters and stories will be part of it, but given Spider-Man’s popularity, his impact on the multiverse’s chaos, and the major cliffhanger left by No Way Home, he will surely have a place in Phase 6 and will the new Avengers to fight against Kang.
