The She-Hulk. This story was told back in 2008 in the one-shot Hulk: Raging Thunder, which was released in the wake of the second MCU film, The Incredible Hulk. The issue was written by Jeff Parker and drawn by Mitch Breitwiser.
The story centers around Hulk’s early days when he was at war with the US military.
Initially, Thundra attacks Hulk, but she only does so to prove her strength. In truth, Thundra planned to seduce Hulk in order to produce a child with him, becoming the first woman to be pregnant in four generations. Thundra also scrapes a set of the Hulk’s cheeks cells to ensure his DNA was compliant with theirs. Twenty years later, her daughter is the new leader of the Sisterhood. The men are also close to losing the war, and she dreams of winning so that the planet can once again know peace.
Although she isn’t named in Raging Thunder, which is also her first appearance, the Hulk and Thundra’s daughter is later named Lyra and has quite the career in Marvel Comics. She travels back in time to the modern Earth-616 universe, first clashing with the original She-Hulk Jennifer Walters before eventually being mentored by her. She was also briefly enrolled in the superhero school, Avengers Academy.
Interestingly, unlike most gamma-powered individuals, Lyra does not grow stronger the angrier she gets. In fact, she actually becomes weaker, forcing her to restrain her emotions in a meditative calm state during a fight rather than letting them run wild like the rest of her Hulk family. During the Secret Wars storyline, Lyra reconnects with her mother Thundra, and the two soon find themselves on Weirdworld, a section of the God Emperor Doom-created planet Battleworld. Lyra presents a much different take on the Hulk and She-Hulk identities, and her calm could prove to be invaluable in the field.
