Warning! Spoilers for Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics
The Thor, transforming the Jade Giant into a different kind of hero. In Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics, the latest installment of the Banner of War crossover, the God of Thunder seemed to have contained his opponent, pinning the Hulk with Mjolnir. However, Hulk responds by unleashing eye lasers and then proceeds to explode like the Gamma bomb that gave him his powers to begin with.
In the new Banner of War crossover from Marvel Comics, Thor is currently where the Hulk's Hulk, Titan, has emerged and taken the Jade Giant's powers to an all-new, deadly level.
In Hulk #7 by Donny Cates, Martin Coccolo, Matt Wilson, and VC's Joe Sabino, Thor and Hulk's Banner of War fight is interrupted by a Celestial Hulkbuster-armored Iron Man. The powerful armor unleashed the "Celestial judgment of a hundred thousand exploding stars," causing Hulk's rage to reach a near-maximum level. As Thor's hammer tries to prevent Iron Man from interfering in their fight, the God of Thunder (via Odin) pins Hulk under Mjolnir. However, Hulk doesn't take the attack kindly, unleashing eye lasers as the Gamma inside him burns the ground beneath him. Hulk explodes like the bomb that created him.
The shoots eye lasers (which readers have seen before), and explodes like a Gamma bomb, transforming him into a Hulk/Thor hybrid. Starship Hulk proves that even against some of the strongest and most well-equipped heroes in the Marvel Comics universe, he's got a counterattack capable of taking them down. It's quite amazing.
At this point, the Hulk's powers continue to transform him into a new, deadlier kind of hero, even without his Titan form when fully unleashed. In the Banner of War crossover, Hulk showed that in his current deadly state, predicting what his powers are capable of and trying to take him down is a fool's errand. He's currently unstoppable. Hulk #7 by Marvel Comics is in comic book stores now.
