With new original content like Best in Dough and shows from so many other networks available, Hulu has a case for being the best place to go for quality reality television. While it is home to major shows like The Kardashians, The Masked Singer, and Hot Ones, there are so many more when you dive a bit deeper.

Since there is so much content there, it's easy to overlook some of the less popular reality shows on the streaming service. They might not be all that well known in general or maybe they just aren't shows you realized were on Hulu but they're all fun.

Hotties (2022-)

A new reality show that isn't all that well known is Hotties, which blends together two popular concepts. It takes the idea of eating foods that has made Hot Ones so famous and mixes it with blind dates, which has always been the rage in the genre.

Hotties puts four singles together on blind dates and while there, they cook up dishes. The combination of flirting and cooking makes for enjoyable TV and comedian Jade Catta-Preta is a delightful host. Ultimately, it's a show reality TV fans should give a chance to.

The Come-Up (2022)

Originally airing on Freeform, The Come-Up feels like a throwback to iconic reality TV shows like The Real World. The eight-part series focuses on six artists and entertainers who are attempting to rise up in New York City.

The 2022 setting meant that this took place in a post-pandemic world, which only adds to the difficulty of everything the people have to go through. The show wasn't watched by all that many viewers but features some interesting people from one of the biggest cities in the world.

Crime Scene Kitchen (2021-)

In the crowded world of cooking shows, it is easy for something to fly under the radar. That's just what Fox's Crime Scene Kitchen did despite having notable names like Joel McHale as a host and Curtis Stone and Yolanda Gampp as judges.

The series sees teams of bakers attempt to recreate a dessert by only looking at crumbs, trails, and other similar small clues. It is one of the more unique reality cooking competitions and since it wasn't a major hit, it took a while for season 2 to get greenlit but it has.

Forged In Fire: Knife Or Death (2018-2019)

The original Forged in Fire show is one of the more notable reality TV series in history with over 200 episodes to date. For a few years, a spin-off aired on the History Channel focusing on bladesmiths, knife experts, and martial artists.

The series involved using these weapons for things like cutting through ice blocks, watermelons, various targets, and more. It is ideal for anyone who collects or likes these kinds of weapons and former NFL player and pro wrestler Bill Goldberg acted as the host.

Backyard Builds (2017-)

Along the same lines as cooking shows, the reality TV landscape is filled with series about people renovating homes or doing home improvement projects. So again, it is easy for some of them to get overlooked, which is kind of how it is for Backyard Builds.

This Canadian show is hosted by contractor Brian McCourt and designer Sarah Keenleyside as they redesign backyards and turn them into versatile living spaces. Despite not being well-known, it has several seasons and holds an 8.5 rating on IMDb, which is higher than most reality shows.

The Real Dirty Dancing (2022-)

Dance competitions own another corner of the reality TV genre to the point where it can be tough to come up with a unique idea for it. One show that pulled that off is The Real Dirty Dancing which took celebrities and had them recreate famous scenes from Dirty Dancing.

The competitors included the likes of Howie Dorough from the Backstreet Boys, pro wrestler Brie Bella, former NFL star Antonio Gates, chef Cat Cora, High School Musical star Corbin Bleu, and more. It only lasted four episodes which makes it an easy watch from start to finish.

Behind The Mask (2013-2015)

So many shows have been made about sports stars from Hard Knocks to ESPN's 30 for 30 series and more but one aspect that is often overlooked is the mascots. These people bring energy to every game that they're part of, yet they remain relative unknowns.

Behind the Mask looked to change that, focusing on mascots for the Milwaukee Bucks, San Francisco Giants, AHL Penguins, and at both the high school and college levels. The series was even nominated for a Sports Emmy, which was a first for Hulu.

Flavor Of Love (2006-2008)

One of the more famous reality dating shows in history is Flavor of Love, which was a big hit for VH1 during the 2000s. It even spawned a spin-off in I Love New York, which then spawned two spin-offs of its own, showing how much reach it had.

The series saw various women compete for the affection of rap legend Flavor Flav and featured some of the most iconic moments in reality TV, from microwaving a whole chicken to the New York spitting incident. Although it's well-known, not many realize it's available to stream today.

F*ck, That's Delicious (2016-)

Food is so universal that it's easy to come up with so many avenues for reality TV shows based around it. F**ck That's Delicious combines food with rap music as the show is hosted by Action Bronson and features the likes of Mayhem Lauren and Alchemist.

Similar to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, this show sees Bronson travel around the world visiting various food spots from fine cuisine to food trucks and more. Meanwhile, guests include actor Jonah Hill, Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio, and many others.

Total Divas (2013-2019)

Since the 2010s, women have gotten more shine in pro wrestling after spending years as just eye candy. They are now mostly treated as the fantastic athletes they are and have become bigger stars. Some may not want to it it but Total Divas played a part in that.

Led by the Bella Twins (who have gone on to have their own show and appear on many other reality series), the show gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the women of WWE. It lasted several seasons and even included former MMA star Ronda Rousey at one point.
