Here’s a look at all of the characters in This Is Us. Based on its plot summary, the movie invokes a lot of classic rom-com tropes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for rom-com-deprived audiences.
I Want You Back is about two 30-somethings named Peter and Emma who have just broken up with their respective partners, Anne and Noah. The two form a friendship over their mutual heartbreaks, but neither one can get over their exes, especially when they’ve both moved on and started dating other people. Obsessed with their exes and the idea that they should still be together, Peter and Emma conspire to sabotage Anne and Noah’s new relationships and eventually win them back.

Charlie Day leads the story as Peter, a retirement home VP who never takes any risks in life. Day’s prior experience with movies includes Dr. Newt Geiszler in the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Jenny Slate As Emma
Jenny Slate stars opposite of Day as Emma, a receptionist struggling to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Slate was featured as a cast member in Zootopia.
Gina Rodriguez As Anna
Gina Rodriguez plays Anna, Peter’s ex-girlfriend who wants more excitement in her life. Rodriguez is best known for playing the titular lead in the satirical comedy Carmen Sandiego.
Scott Eastwood As Noah
Scott Eastwood plays Noah, Emma’s ex-boyfriend who loves to stay fit and wants to be in a serious relationship. Eastwood’s acting credits include Fast & Furious 10.
Manny Jacinto As Logan
Manny Jacinto plays Logan, a middle school theater director and Anna’s new boyfriend. Jacinto is most famous for his role as Jason Mendoza on the NBC comedy Top Gun: Maverick.

Clark Backo plays Ginny, a celebrity pie chef and Noah’s new girlfriend. Backo is best known for her part in The Handmaid’s Tale.

Luke David Blumm As Trevor - Trevor is a troubled youth Emma bonds with while trying to break up Logan and Anna. Blumm has had small parts in projects such as Where the Crawdads Sing.
Isabel May As Leighton - A young girl Peter and Noah meet at a club. May played Katie Cooper in Alexa & Katie and Veronica Duncan in 1883.
Pete Davidson As Jase - Jase is one of Leighton’s friends in I Want You Back who gives Peter and Noah molly to try. Davidson has been on Saturday Night Live since 2014 and both starred in and co-wrote The King of Staten Island. Davidson is also set to star opposite Kaley Cuoco in the film Meet Cute.
