In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the Seat of Eternity Mystery is a fun puzzle located in the northern half of Gizeh. This is the largest open area that Indy explores, so make sure to grab the Gizeh map from Nuwal before embarking on exploration. Mysteries often provide useful rewards, such as money, artifacts, or upgrade items upon completion.
Mysteries are different from Adventures and often only get initiated by Indy himself when encountering a puzzle or unknown piece of documentation. It is well worth it to complete Fieldwork and Mysteries before progressing too far through the main story. However, starting this mystery is easier said than done, as it is located off the beaten path. Before you can begin solving this mystery, Indy must locate a sealed sarcophagus that can be found in a hidden underground location.

How To Start The Seat of Eternity Mystery
Locate The Sealed Sarcophagus
Start by heading northwest from the Sphinx Excavation site near the Cloud Atlas Mystery toward the train tracks. Follow the path until you reach a camp on a hill with three dogs, indicating you are in the right location. Stop and look around the hill to find square holes in the ground, one of which you will need to jump down inside. You can also use the sound of the whipcrack to scare off the dogs instead of fighting them.

Are you surprised by Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's reviews?
The wait for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is finally almost over, and the reviews have been rolling in, with the game currently holding an impressive 87 on Metacritic for both its PC and Xbox Series X/S versions. While I won't say I'm completely surprised by the reviews, I am pleasantly surprised by them, as there was some division over the game's early footage and MachineGames has been something of a mixed bag in recent years, making me all the more excited to suit up as Indy.
One of the holes down a set of stairs will be blocked off by wooden planks, rendering it inaccessible to Indy. The correct hole is just next to this hole, but make sure not to jump all the way down. Instead, drop onto the ledge halfway down the hole, allowing you to safely make your way into the underground area. Inside the hole, you will find a room with a sealed sarcophagus, four empty pedestals, and a mystery note, which will begin the Seat of Eternity Mystery.
How To Solve The Seat of Eternity Mystery
Find The Canopic Jars
With the mystery underway, look around the sarcophagus room to find the Falcon Canopic Jar, the first of four jars you will need to unlock the coffin. Place it on the middle-left pedestal, head out of the sarcophagus room, and turn left. At the bottom of a hole will be the Human Canopic jar and a two-handed weapon, both of which will need to be thrown out of the hole. Use the whip to climb out of the hole and place the Human Canopic Jar on the far left pedestal.
There is an image above each pedestal of its corresponding Canopic Jar.
Head back out of the sarcophagus room and pick up the two-handed weapon from before. Look to the right this time to find a wall that can be knocked down with this weapon. Head down the exposed hallway to find the Baboon Canopic Jar, which should be placed on the far right pedestal. Head back to the hole that the Human Canopic Jar was in, but this time swing across it to open a door found on the left side. Inside will be the Jackal Canopic Jar, which will need to be thrown back across the gap.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - How To Complete Fortune's Reach Mystery in Gizeh
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, players can solve mysteries in order to claim Adventure Points and acquire hidden items throughout each level.
Proceed back to the sealed sarcophagus chamber, unlock the coffin, and place the Jackal Canopic Jar on the final pedestal. Reach inside to pull out an Ancient Relic, advancing the Riddles of the Ancients quest just like The Great Circle's Haunting Mystery. Now that you have completed the Seat of Eternity mystery climb back out of the hole to continue exploring Gizeh in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
