As revealed in the 1.2 livestream on January 20th, Shooting Star Season ends, Firework Season will begin, bringing with it all sorts of new content to explore.
Among this new content is a visit from mysterious entertainers from the Linlang Empire, who bring the New Bloom Festival with them. This festival will take players to the Fireworks Isles, which offers a new place to explore and new quests to complete while there. Rounding out the season will be New Horizons Day, during which players can lazily float across Breezy Meadow in their very own hot-air balloon. 1.2 has a lot in store, and it will be here sooner rather than later.
All New Outfits In 1.2
Featuring Two Ability Outfits, Plus Some Gifts In The Store
The first two outfits that were revealed in the 1.2 livestream were the season's ability outfits, Dance 'Till Dawn and Eternal Bond. Dance 'Till Dawn is a five-star Gliding outfit, which Nikki can use to float around the Firework Isles and the Abandoned District, and is distinctly card-like in theme. Grab hold of festive balloons and falling cards for an all-new gliding experience.
The free outfits in the store will not appear until later in the season as part of the New Bloom Festival.
The second ability outfit, Eternal Bond, is less utilitarian than Dance 'Till Dawn. It's a Whimsicality outfit that, upon activation, rains cards around Nikki. It's also darker in theme, allowing those players who wish for edgier outfits to find new ways to style these pieces. Both of these outfits will be obtainable through the limited-time Fireworks Prelude banner arriving January 24th.
Though there are no returning banners yet, Infold has promised that old banners will eventually return to Infinity Nikki.
Outside of the two ability outfits, there will be a few more ensembles added to the roster as the season continues. The four-star Fiery Glow and Endless Longing outfits will be part of the event during the season, though it's not confirmed exactly which event this will be. Fiery Glow will be craftable from Sketches earned by participating in Events throughout the season. Additionally, the four-star Midnight Vigil outfit and five-star Stardust Flare outfit will be available from the limited-time Skywards Bouqets Resonance banner.
All New Events In 1.2
The New Bloom Festival & The New Horizons Day Event
The first event in Infinity Nikki's Firework season is the New Bloom Festival. As an elegant ship from the Linlang Empire docks in Florawish, players will celebrated musician Du Yubai to share the joy of the New Bloom Festival with all of Florawish. Follow along with Du Yubai's questline to discover the secret that connects the Linlang Empire to Wishfield, helping out the people of Florawish along the way.
Infinity Nikki: All Camera Settings & How To Use Them
Infinity Nikki has some beautiful environments and outfits that can be captured with the in-game camera, if you know what all the settings do.
The New Bloom Festival will also add more Infinity Nikki minigames and outfits specific to the event. Play Whim Tangram mingames to earn the limited-time Endless Longing outfit, plus extra rewards. Purchase special lanterns to release into the air in celebration of the event, or purchase a Luminous Bloom lantern to float along the water. The New Bloom Festival will also bring a new outfit to the store, a four-star outfit called New Year's Dawn.
As with Shooting Star Season, Firework Season is likely to have a main quest as well as several subquests for players to complete and earn rewards.
The second, smaller event in Firework Season is going to be New Horizons day, which will be a simpler celebration of discovery and learning. Nikki can Francis at the Meadow Activity Center to take a ride in a beautiful hot air balloon across the Breezy Meadow and find the beauty in soaring Wishfield views.

Explore The Firework Isles
At the beginning of Firework Season, players will gain access to the Firework Isles, inhabited by the Firework Sprites. These Sprites seem to be related to the Faewish Sprites and serve to make fireworks to celebrate Firework Season each year in honor of the Wishing One. It also boasts the following features:

Just like Shooting Star Season, Firework Season promises to be packed with content when it releases on January 24th. There will be outfits and rewards to collect, events to follow up on, and even new Sketches to complete, so be prepared. It's likely that even more content will come during the course of the season, adding even more charm and joy to Infinity Nikki.
