One of the primary focuses of after catching up to the main story, although the game's gacha system can feel a little bit overwhelming to players who might be new to this style of game.
The main way that Infinity Nikki can generate revenue despite its free is through the game's gacha banners. The gacha mechanics offer three different banners, two temporary and one permanent. While the permanent banner can gradually be pulled from at a leisurely pace as players collect Resonite Crystals, the temporary banners only last a number of days and provide a sense of urgency for players, which can lead to the temptation to buy Revelation Crystals, which are rarer than Resonite Crystals, with real life money, in order to purchase the outfits from this banner before they disappear.
Why You Should Save Revelation Crystals
Not Every Banner Is Worth Pulling
Because the temporary gacha banners in Infinity Nikki are only available for a short amount of time, players may find themselves grinding especially hard in the game and potentially engaging in unhealthy gaming habits in order to earn enough Resonate Crystals. It's important to look at the game as a whole and to recognize that, as a free game, there are already so many outfits to collect in Infinity Nikki. It is also important to recognize that it is not essential to try to pull from every temporary banner in the game, and some players may be better off saving their Revelation Crystals for a banner that they really, really like.
How To Generate Revelation Crystals
Exchange Gems For Revelation Crystals
Revelation Crystals are slightly more difficult to obtain than Resonite Crystals, and usually need to be sought by exchanging Gems for them in the Store. Gems can be earned in the game in exchange for completing quests, Styling Contests, completing Daily Wishes every day, and are regularly found in chests while exploring Infinity Nikki's Miraland. Players will need 120 Gems to exchange for one Revelation Crystal, which means they can take a little bit of time to save up. For a decent pull from the gacha banners, a player is guaranteed one item from the banner every five pulls, meaning five Revelation Crystals are needed for one outfit item reward.
Ultimately, it's up to the player whether they decide to aim to pull every outfit from every temporary gacha banner in Infinity Nikki, but this can be a stressful experience for some. Pulling from every banner is not essential in order to progress in the game, and they should be seen more as bonus outfits that can be fun to collect. If a player sees an outfit in the temporary banner that they are not head-over-heels for, they can hold on to their Revelation Crystals, save up some more, and wait to spend them on outfits from a banner that they are really excited about.
