There have been a few times in the history of the Infinity Wars event, Warp World resulted in countless heroes from across the Marvel Universe fusing together. The event also created fusions of numerous villains ranging from Omega-level threats to the patently obscure.

The Warp World was formed when Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy attempted to stop the demonic Soul-Eater known as Devondra from consuming every soul that resides within the Soul Stone. In doing so, Gamora managed to trap every single soul in the universe within the Soul World that existed within the Soul Stone, and combine them with another. This pandemonium of epic proportions resulted in the creation of Warp World- a universe where every single character in Marvel was combined with another.

Klorb only appears briefly in the story "Acts of War" by Al Ewing and Carlos Gómez in 2019's Secret Warps: Soldier Supreme Annual #1. This bizarre mashup makes his debut fighting Arachknight, a combination of Spider-Man and Moon Knight. Klorb himself is the result of a fusion of two mercenary characters, those being Ulysses Klaw and the Orb. The Orb is a minor character who has sporadically appeared but has a striking design nonetheless, having a head made solely of a giant eyeball. Of course combining this with Klaw’s sound-based powers led Marvel to create a character with a massive ear for a head.

Ulysses Klorb debut .

Klorb’s distinguishing features are horrifying to say the least and it isn’t even explained how he can talk, let alone see or smell. Arachknight even attacks Klorb with a giant Q-Tip off as if his ear for a head wasn’t a giant weakness already. Klorb seems to still possess Klaw’s sonic gauntlet, though it really seems like he would run into some trouble using a sonic device anywhere near himself, even if it had the capacity to aim sound in a focused direction. It’s explained that typically, Klorb is a villain of the Ghost Panther, a combination of Ghost Rider and Black Panther. This would imply that Klorb is a little more rooted in Klaw’s origins than the Orb’s since the Orb is generally an Avengers villain. It is later revealed that Klorb actually works for Dormammu Red, a combination of Red Skull and Dormammu, and was hired specifically to battle Arachknight in order to throw him off his game. It seems as though Klorb's destructive sonic blasts are nothing the Arachknight can't handle, though, as he's promptly heard begging for mercy just one page after his introduction.

The combination of Klaw and the Orb in the Infinity Wars event is really something almost no reader would have seen coming since the two characters hardly have anything in common besides a power related to one of the basic senses. While Ulysses Klorb’s backstory is never fully fleshed out, fans can rest easy knowing that Marvel Comics is unlikely to visit Warp World again anytime soon, thus saving them from another appearance of this bizarre villain.
